I like staying with the same brand. My Uverse remote works well with it too. Make sure your cable/satellite box volume is turned all the way up. Works best with tv speakers off. Sub is more then i expected. Wife loves the Bluetooth feature for music. Its seems a lot louder while bluetoothed to a phone but still plenty loud when watching tv.
