Bought this when it was on sale and also since I had an LG TV. I tried using the HDMI ARC from my LG TV to the LG sound bar but I just couldn't get it to work properly. Then I decided to try the optical connection, worked just fine. Since this is a 2.1 setup, I didn't think there would be a difference between using the HDMI vs the optical connection. The wirelsss subwoofer was a nice touch.

I'm not much on sound as I'm hard of hearing. This sound bar, for the price point, is perfect . Easy to setup and the ability to move the Sub around the room is great, especially if you rearrange a room often. The sounds are great in all ranges. The only draw back I found, which is probably my fault somewhere, is that with the TV sound on, would cause an echo effect. Like there was just the slightest delay.

My 60" flat screen tv has ok decent speakers built in. What was missing was the low rumbling sounds and the high pitch sounds that make live movie watching exciting. That's why going to a brick and mortar movie theater is a nice experience. This system makes my tv become a theater experience! I find that my movies and soundtracks become alive with undistorted sound and clarity. I highly recommend this system for those of you how wish for a "movie theater experience in your own home!

This soundbar sounds great. It was very easy to set up. Love the Bluetooth capability.

Very easy to install and had great sound. If your television has Bluetooth capability you won’t have to mess with cables

We bought this for my mother-in-law to improve on the sound from the TV. The setup was easy, the styling is nice, and sound is very nice. Plus, she loves it.

This is a pretty good sounding Soundbar for the price. It produces very clear sound & you don't have to turn it too loud to hear every detail.

Wow!!! LG makes awesome products but this sound bar was the best!! In our media room & another in our bedroom. The clear sound makes movie night even more fun

It has a nice sound for being reasonably priced and putting the subwoofer behind you makes it feel like surround sound.

Very nice sound for the price. Sets up easy and links with the cable remote immediately. Really enjoy listening music through it also. Massive improvement over tv speaker. Mounted nicely onto the wall underneath my older Sony Bravia. Made my old tv new again. Can actually hear much better with this soundbar than the last one and seems nicely balanced for those with slight hearing loss.

This was a very easy set up and sounds great, far more power than I need. This was a very nice addition to my new LG TV. I am pleased with my purchase.

True sound quality and wall shaking bass. For the price I never expected this type of performance, with very consistent sound quality at all levels.

Sound is great. Minor issues when changing from cable to Wi-Fi, doesn't always work the first time. No big deal.

This sound bar has great sound and bass. For the price it is definitely worth it. You won't regret this purchase. I would have gave it 5 stars if there was a way to adjust the bass and trebble a little bit more. It looks good too. Very happy with it

This is a good soundbar with some drawbacks. It's designed to connect to your tv via optical cable. My Panasonic plasma is just old enough to lack an optical input. So I had to connect it by HDMI, which wouldn't be so bad except the soundbar's HDMI pass through has one input and one output. Since I don't have an A/V receiver, that means connecting one source at a time. The overall sound is good but not as crisp in the highs as you might expect. The wireless subwoofer produces deep bass with surprising impact for its size. The front display has several led indicators but no numbers. Build quality is excellent. This soundbar looks and feels much more expensive than it is. When streaming music from Pandora, the bass has a tendency to get muddy. This happens much less often with movies. Bottom line : I wish I'd spent $60 more and gotten the Sony soundbar I demoed in the store.

It is great sound. Whether you're watching tv, listening to music or playing a movie, it works wonderfully!

Got this for an open box deal for Christmas and for the price, the sound cannot be beat. Great vocal clarity and the sub woofer adds a nice punch.
