Overall the unit is not bad. Sounds better than TV, woofer is strong, basic functions are adequate. A soundbar is no replacement for a stereo system in general, but a slightly larger unit could accommodate larger tweeters which don't get overpowered by the subwoofer (which is adjustable at least.) Wattage is fine though. Most disappointing thing is that the bluetooth reception is VERY WEAK-- pretty much line of sight only, so streaming music or movies from my phone in another room does not work well. Even streaming in the same room can get short delays if moving around. Compare that to my external keyboard, which can connect to my phone from across the house through several walls.

I purchased this sound during Black Friday after realizing the more expensive LG sound at was out of stock. I purchased this one anyway and was initially excited since the sound was pretty good. However, after about a day, only one side of the range seemed to emit clear noise. Then the sub would go in and out as if it weren't working. I could have gotten a bad apple but I'm a bit disappointed. The model in the store LA5118A sounded fantastic so I had similar expectations for this bar, being mindful it may not be as nice since it wasn't at the same price point. Again, it could have been just my experience but I wasn't very pleased with this item. Hopefully it was just the lemon of the bunch.

The sound bar and wireless subwoofer are a great buy for the price and have many nice features such as being able to control sound output with the TV remote control. I would rate this higher if the mounting template was drawn to actual dimensions. I used the template to align, mark and drill the mounting holes. The only problem is the mounting bar is about 1/2 inch longer than the template and four new holes must be made in order to keep the sound bar centered on the TV.

I bought this for my 55" LG tv. I was skeptic but after hooking it up I love the sound. It has deep bass and is just what I needed. In an apt. it sounds very nice. Easy hook up and works with my cox remote.

I bought two of these last summer to pair up with my LG TV's and am very happy with the sound. The wireless bluetooth sub sounds great for a small one. Thanks to LG for another great product

Sound is OK, but expected more- suspect issue with having to go thru cable company-issued DVR- cable company signal suspect is crummy, but the soundbar works as best as it can I guess. In any case, improvement from the TV''s speakers.

Bought this sound bar for the bedroom, but temporarily placed in the living room. Excellent sound for the price! Who needs more expensive sound bars when this product delivers same quality?

It sounds good over all, but the Bluetooth seems to have issues. For a while, some things connect, wanted to send music from my phone to the sound bar via bluetooth, spend an hour, no connection, decided to hook it up to some headphones I had via bluetooth and it worked without even trying.

My parents have an LG smart tv where the sound was so bad that you had to turn it up to 55-60 to even hear it. I purchased this soundbar as a gift for them to help improve the sound quality. It was easy to setup and has proven to be an excellent one for the price. It has made the audio experience so much more enjoyable.

It is a solid sound bar - very easy to set up. It is not going to shake the room, but very good for a family room. We watched Star Wars and it sounded very good.

At first when I turned it on I wasn't feeling it but when you put it in cinema mode that's when the bass came out and it sounded great.

We were very pleased with the overall sound and function of the sound bar. Only 2 weeks after purchase the sound bar stopped working. We received a replacement at Bestbuy and after a few weeks that one started to randomly shut off while watching a program. It finally stopped working completely after only 2 months of light use!

This sound bar is perfect for our home. Not over bearing but just enough to give you that in theaters quality.

We never owned a sound bar before, but it sure does give the TV a boost! Comes with subwoofer.

Everything is good except the bass tends cut out. I assume this is due to the wireless feature.

Bought this for our bed room tv. its good easy to set up. sound is crisp and clear. just wish sub kicked more but....i'm used to the pioneer elite 600 watt sub in family room sooo I cant complain...I wish i had spent more but going to be moving to a new house and leaving this here for my son. over all? was a good " bang for the buck".

The quality of the sound bar is great. The subwoofer is really good too. Unfortunately you can't use a universal remote that controls both your Insignia tv and soundbar, but you can use a universal remote that controls both on Samsung tvs
