So far its been working good. Its a really nice model. This one replaced the older model that lasted about 4 years.

I recently installed the LG 2.1 cu. ft. Smart Over‑the‑Range Microwave and overall I’m quite pleased. The 2.1 cu. ft. capacity gives ample space for larger plates and dishes. The ventilation system does a strong job extending across the cooktop and capturing steam and odors more effectively than typical models. It also offers smart options and sensor cooking, which simplify everyday use. One caveat: the auto-defrost feature hasn’t worked reliably for me so far — I’ve had to manually intervene and set times frequently. In sum: great choice for size, quality and ventilation — just check the defrost behavior to make sure it works for your use case.

Love this microwave- sleek in its design and so many features for cooking. I use my microwave multiple times/ day- also like the extra hood vent feature- something I have never had with an over the stove microwave. Black stainless steel looks great in my kitchen!

Just as described, black stainless steel, very sleek, seamless look, and matches our existing black stainless steel appliances perfectly… great function and especially like the extendable vent feature.

Last LG microwave crashed and burned after a couple of years. I'm hoping this one lasts longer. we've used it now for about 6 months and seems to work great. Powerful, cooks fast nice options and sleek looking.

This product does it all and one does not need to be a genius to use it! With the touch of a button, yiu can boil water, reheat food, and even steam cook. It has great inside capacity and is sleek, modern and functional .

I love this microwave. So easy to figure what you’re cooking and maneuver around it. And the over the stove extended vent is awesome

This is a nice design refresh from the prior model. It is full of features and they work well. My only nit pick is with the controls turning their lights completely off. It takes some tapping to figure out where to touch and wake up the controls. You cannot see any buttons when the lights are out. Maybe in the future the microwave can detect you approaching to turn on the display.

Super cool looking, smart sensing microwave. I’m used to using an LG with the sensor functions so this was an easy install with no learning curve. I like the added oven fan extension, though it does feel a bit under-engineered for durability. I’ll be sure to be gentle to it and be careful not to push down on it while cleaning off some spills while the extended fan is out and I’m using the microwave at the same time. As for the added WiFi and app linking, I cannot imagine why I’d ever need to be told that the microwave is done cooking with a text message. Maybe if I couldn’t hear the pleasant beeps, in a busy house full of loud kids I’d be happy to let me know to flip my defrosting food… but seems unnecessary. Maybe the WiFi will help diagnose future issues all on all Happy customer in first few weeks.

I purchased this microwave for the evacuation fan. That works great and the extension really helps when cooking on the front burners of my stove below.
