Stopped working after less than 1 month

Otherwise it is a good design with a good user interface, though the microwave operation and the fan are louder than I would have liked. We'll see what type of service I get from LG to fix or replace it.

Without handles

Try to register this product--just try!

Instructions are murky, and when you finally (manually) find the form, it asks stuff like what you paid, which is none of their business. Worse, you are asked the purchase date, and when you say "confirm" it asks again for the purchase date, in an infinite loop. Such user-hostile incompetence means I won't buy an LG brand again. Also, product was expensive and required a long wait, even when it was available quickly online.

not as big as advertised

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Evidently you have to use new math when sizing this oven . we had a Whirlpool 1.7 cu. ft. microwave that quit , we wanted a bigger one . a 2.1 lg would be a little over 20 % bigger ? Not so , it is no bigger at all , don't know how they measured it . I learned it's width times depth times height , unless that formula has changed , it is only about 1.7 cubic feet . had we known , we would not have bought this microwave for sure

Poor Install, Not Product Issue

Great product and great people

I am realy imoresed with this one as it is just about the same as the first one I hd but it is about 199% better the only compaint I hve is the turntable. My original mycro wave table went from left to right this one rotates which restricts the size of the dish or plater that you put in a swich that would turn it off would be very nice. other than thatI am 100% satisfied. I am also 100% satisfies with the Geek squad (Thy are not geks, the ones that I had contacts with were very polite and knowlegable in there job) just my opinion.

it's very quiet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.installation was easy - although I wish the templates were not part of the instructions - should of been included as additional sheets. the chime for end of cook cycle is very different and superior to the annoying beep, beep, beep, beep, beep of our last one. I'm slowly adapting to the new ways: when pressing 1, it actually auto starts and cooks for 1 min, same with 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. if more time is needed press the +30 seconds. I prefer the press 7, then 3, then 0 for 7m30s and press start.

Micro Changes - still nice unit

This is an updated model from the one I had and I like it fine enough. Information regarding specific reheating of items is too small comparatively and the tone is fine but reminds me of a carnival. I didn't realize it has internet connectivity which is a negative in my book and you must take an extra step to choose a time other than 1 -9 minutes which is mildly inconvenient when you are used to putting in time and pressing start.

Quieter Microwave,

We stayed with selecting a new LG brand unit for the mounting ease of the new unit to the old units mounting bracket. The new unit 2.1 cu ft extendaVent microwave is much quieter than the previous unit and does its job well. Happy customer

Great Deal

I was attracted to this model because the hood extends several inches to collect more exhaust from the range. There weren't any in stock so I considered an open box "excellent condition like new" model. It turned out to be unavailable so I purchesed an "open box good condition" model thinking if it was unsatisfactory I'd turn it back in. Turned out it was in totally new condition, there was only a tear in the box and someone had opened the box to check the condition. Turned out to be a totally good deal.

LG Service a DISASTER
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I almost never write reviews - and when I do, they are positive ones. Not this time! I am exhausted and frustrated to no end. I cannot believe the poor service LG has (not) provided in response to repairing this microwave. I bought the unit in November of 2023 and used it very little until it stopped working in October of 24 (10-11 months later). I called LG service and they sent a repair company out to fix it since it was still under the 1 year warranty. That company came out and said parts needed to be ordered. Once the part was in, they installed it - but it still had issues. So they came back and ordered another part. Still had issues. They came back and ordered another part. Still issues. In the end, they replaced the circuit board, door, instrument panel, touch user face and probably something else to no avail. And each time it was a hassle to meet them there (it is not where I live) and then wait for parts and meet again for the install. They came out over 6 times and finally said it should be replaced. But LG won't replace it. And now, even though the initial repair and warranty claim was made within the one year warranty period, because it is now out of warranty (although never fixed) they say they won't replace it. Total scam. Unbelievable. All they offered me was a courtesy repair visit AGAIN - but they won't replace the unit if that doesn't resolve the issues (half the buttons stopped working). If somehow it gets repaired, I will change this review. Otherwise, I will NEVER buy LG again. To deal with this for 6-7 months and then be told it's out of warranty is absurd and the opposite of customer service.
