||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a replacement for the exact same LG Microwave i purchased two years ago, the fan motor broke only after two years of below average use, LG customer service was of no help, they had no repair men in my area, on serviceman called me and told me it would be cheaper to buy a new Microwave. Since I purchased all BLKACK STAINLESS STEEL LG appliances I had to repurchase the same one with extended warranty. I do not recommend an LG or GE Microwave ( GE makes the LG microwave).

Danger fire or overflowing mess in microwave!

Unfortunately, i've missed the return window as i purchased this more than a month ago in anticipation of my kitchen remodel. I used it for the 1st time today. My anger is because you cant see anything being microwaved. The digital buttons and read outs block the view of the turn table. You would have to be giant or stand on a ladder to see whats going on inside the microwave. I'm 5' 7" and cant see the turntable. There is no way to know that you will find a microwave disaster until you open the door or see a fire! Also, it does not heat as effectively as my 22 year old 1,000 watt Whirlpool microwave. I would NEVER buy this microwave with the info i know now. I pray the matching $2,500 slide in range i bought doesnt have a serious fault!

Waited for it to arrive and after installation the vent drawer wouldn't stay shut so went to the store and found the one they had on display wouldn't stay shut either. They ordered a new one, it arrived, I installed the new one and all was fine until this week. After using for 3 weeks it has now quit working. Not sure when we will have a new working microwave. I have purchased a $90 (not LG) countertop microwave so we have something to work with for now, it works fine! Frustrating to have 3 trips to the store, had to do 2 installations and still without a working unit.

The controls are clunky and the extend a vent was broken in a week. I had to tape it shut. You can get a lot better microwave for a lot less money than this one. If it wasn't installed over my oven and a major pain to take it down I would have brought it back. It ranks as one of my worst purchases eever.

So now we have an expensive, pretty microwave that mostly won’t work. When it DID work it was so-so. The popcorn button always slightly overcooked popcorn. Things barely cooked in the middle of the microwave. I know that is a common problem but this microwave was a lot worse than our last one. Then the microwave display stopped counting down. The microwave would cook but not display thw cook time or count down. Then it just stopped cooking at all. So 14 months later we are buying a brand new microwave - again. Definitely not this one!!!

The bolt that attaches the handle from inside is on a very thin plastic. It broke within first few months of use .it was within the manufacturer warranty so was replaced and it broke again. We had a whirlpool earlier that lasted 10 years. This is very poor quality, very disappointed
