Has great features including the extend-a-vent. Make the exhaust a larger area covering the cooktop with a slight touch of the finger. The fan is super quiet as well.

We bought this for my mom and it is easy to use and a great value. Her and my son pop popcorn and have movie nights. It is great the the buttons are on the bottom as she is short and can reach them

Really enjoy this LG unit,we bought it to match our kitchen range. Love the Black Stainless color and the extendable vent hood makes it easy to capture unwanted smoke/steam from front burner areas.

A fairly easy install and it’s super quiet. Easy to clean interior and all of the programmed buttons seem to cool everything just right. Highly recommend!!!

There isn't anything in particular that's special about this microwave, but it looks great and works well. A great LG piece to make the set complete.

This was one of the first times I purchased sight unseen due to the pandemic. But this was exactly as described and even better in person!

We purchased this over the range microwave for the extend vent feature. It has 4 vents and works very well.

I’m remodeling my kitchen (new backsplash, etc). I researched many microwaves where I didn’t just want something cheaper. I wanted a microwave that didn’t need to be the best of the best and most expensive...but rather a simpler and very good quality. A choice to be happy with for years to come. I KNOW this microwave is it for me. I installed it myself, except for minor lifting help, and the led lights and venting is very good. If you want a unit that is better than ‘middle of the road’ but not too expensive, I highly recommend one consider this purchase. And yes, it works GREAT.

Noticed the option of the extendable vent over the stove to keep cooking heat and other grime off the front of the microwave. works very well so far. Nice appearance and functionality.

This is my first over the range microwave and it is awesome!!! I have so much more counter space now without a microwave taking up so much room. I love that the vent slides in and out.

I like the LG microwave and am very happy with the purchase. I've had them in the past, and they have always worked flawlessly. This was a purchase for a new home. I like the controls embedded into the glass of the door much better that the previous side panel. This makes it slightly easier for shorter persons to control the oven and looks great. The black stainless finish hides fingerprints better than the traditional stainless steel.

Easy to install and use. Has a large cooking platter and heats food quickly. I have had 3 microwaves and by far this one beats the Sears and Samsung.

Heats up my food a lot better than the one I replaced. Black stainless steal looks awesome in my kitchen.

Previous owner of a LG OTR Microwave. I really, really liked this unit. I was hesitating to buy it, concerned would it fit as, it was 2.2 cu ft vs. I currently had a 1.9 cu. ft. Purchased the item brought it home and read reviews on the installation to give yourself enough clearance between the stove top and door opening. This one had to be returned as it is too big.

This is the second extendavent microwave I owned. I loved the extended vent that covers the front row of the range. The power is adequate and there are many bells-and-whistles but I think I only use a few features. It is solid and if you are looking into a over-the-range microwave with a good ventilation, you should look into this. The only downside I can think of is it's height. Due to the vent mechanism, I believe this microwave slightly taller than others. So make sure that you have enough clearance!

A little larger than the norm. The extend vent is a nice touch but the engineering design for vent suction is no different than a standard vent. To be fair- it’s definitely not a commercial vent. To many gaps in design that enables Weak vent suction. Works well for heating. Internal Door cover is made from molded plastic. Extended vent finish is a different color but similar shade. I’d personally say it’s average for heating, looks good, and not so well for venting.

Just what we were looking for. extendable vent feature is genius design really captures steam from stovetop below..

What a great microwave! While everyone else is taking down over the stove microwaves to put in fancy vent hoods, I installed mine over the stove. It has all the settings I could ever use and it’s so intuitive. But I really love the vent fan and pull out feature! It moves 500 cfm and comes out forward over the burners to capture all that steam and smoke that used to come into the kitchen.

This is a great over the range microwave, easy to use and with a nice design. Have only had item for two weeks, but so far is doing very well.
