    It make loud noise very infrequently. Other than this, it is really quiet. It is better than Samsung absolutely.

    Dreadful Design

    The ice maker hose broke and was leaking water. A repairman noted that there is a service bulletin on this refrigerator from Lg acknowledging a design flaw; he applied the suggested fix. The repair package from LG it has now been determined is also defective. A key part on the back that is broken is not included in the repair package and cannot even be located on the LG schematic. So I have an unrepairable ice maker after less than 2 years of ownership. And I'm out $300 for two (2) different repairmen for an unfixable refrigerator. Hello ice trays until the thing wears out.

    So disappointed bought this from Best buy 4 yrs ago. It started to make a lot of noise the freezer was no longer keeping things frozen like icecream that goes out then 3 days later refrig. goes out. Geek Squad would not come out for 2 weeks so their unreliable called another repair company, they tried fixing it, only to break again more parts ordered we're on the 3rd service call. It took 1 month to repair it right after living out of an ice chest. LG is not the way to go our last refrig was a Maytag! Don't buy!

    This piece of trash died within the first 2 years! Warranty is a joke and so is the Best Buy support that I paid for to get it.

    Great fridge

    LOVE this new fridge. My parents have a similar model by Whirlpool and after reading reviews and checking consumer reports, we went with LG. So far, it's been great.

    Compressor failure in 30 months

    Beautiful fridge, loved it until the compressor failed in 30 months. Lucky LG has the best warranty in the business so they paid the parts but we still had a $254 repair bill.
