    Very bad experience

    The compressor for this refrigerator died within 4 years of purchase. LG agreed to replace it free of cost as it is within warranty but they have extremely bad service centers. The service centers do not get back in the stipulated 24-48 hrs. It’s been 3 days and I am still waiting for someone to tell me when a technician will come to fix the refrigerator. In this heat and with kids, it is so difficult to live without a refrigerator. Extremely bad experience with LG. Will never buy another LG appliances. :(

    Highly disappointed

    I'm not sure if they sent me a refurbished fridge, but the inside is full of scuff marks. It is so small that it won't even hold a gallon of milk without totally removing the second shelf, because the shelf holes don't line up. I'm definitely not happy.

    Unreliable, Broke Within 4 Years!

    Refrigerator is dead after less than 4 years of ownership. Repairs will likely cost over $400, up to $800. The repairs are unlikely to be covered by the short manufacturer's warranty. Also, Best Buy's protection plan starts at time of purchase, not when manufacturer's warranty expires. The repair guys said that he sees LG, Samsung and Kenmore fridges all the time due to parts breaking. Part is on back-order because so many of these fridges are breaking. Save your money!!

    Compressor issues have not been resolved!

    After three years of use this fridge stopped cooling and freezing. I have an appointment for repair service scheduled for next week thru LG's warranty. It was a time consuming process dealing with their service agents. Think twice before buying an LG refrigerator.

    I have had this fridge for under 4 years and the compressor died. LG has been less than helpful to resolve this issue.

    Good for 4-6 years, then you can buy another one.

    Came home today and my freezer has been off for a long enough period of time that all the food had thawed. Only 5 years old and broken. I was warned about buying LG and now I know why.
