It is a counter-depth, but surprisingly roomy. The door-in-door option holds a lots of "stuff" that would normally crowd your shelves. The only draw-back is the water is a little loud when it fills up in the frig and the ice makes a lot of noise when it is dumping.

I like the layout of drawers and shelves. I like the craft ice. The left side door has a edge that is supposed to catch in a groove and flip a piece out so the two doors seal together. It doesn’t always catch so there is a gap between the doors when they’re closed. The water and ice taste like plastic. I have changed the filter and followed the directions for processing water to clear this problem four times. The first glasses of glasses of water every time we get water still taste like plastic. It’s been 3 weeks.

I had to call 4 times, to ask when they Will repair thhe fridge. My fridge is only 6 months old. Costumer Serve said why now you are telling us about it. I told them, the weather was was in January, so i didn’t need to use the ice maker nor cold water. LG really doesn’t stand behind their products. I had a Whirlpool and it lasted for 25 years. I don’t have a 3,500 dollars fridge for 6 months and i have no ice nor cold water. Summer is here and my fancy LG isn’t providing me cold water. Very disappointed……. I have notice mostly is a 5 stars review. But i am giving 3 stars as being generous.

I do wish the shelves offered more flexibility in changing them around

Craft Ice maker stops working every 3-6 months. Water dispenser continually gets stopped up and won’t dispense water. Highly disappointed. Will never purchase an LG appliance again.
