Lg fridge review
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the counter depth aspect i love the blackstainless steel which will match all the new appliance we bought for kitchen remodel. I wish the water/ice dispenser lit up more we can see where to push the buttons and unfortunately you do loose more space in the freezer than i realized the main door seems to shut rather hard...my overall so far is its a very good refrigerator just needs some tweeks..we bought this model because it has the beverage drawer which we had in our previous fridge and loved. The sliding seperators in the beverage door move too much i wish they locked in place

Great option for counter-depth with flexibility
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had to buy a replacement for our fridge that died and this one fit into our house and space well. As far as dislikes, we don't love that it's more shallow than our old fridge (shallow even for a counter-depth option) and we do not like that when you open the freezer drawer, the top tray opens with the bottom. The craft ice maker is great for us, (works really well for iced coffee) but it would be nice if the tray was about half the size so it wouldn't take up so much freezer space (which is less than we would like). That being said, if we do need more freezer space, we have the option of the flex drawer which is pretty great. It would be nice if the dividers locked into place like the samsung ones, but overall we prefer this option since you can make it either a freezer or a fridge. It's also great to have a drawer you can pull out without opening the fridge doors...I hated on my old french door fridge how we had to open both doors all the way wide in order to pull out our deli drawer. The third drawer solves that problem. We love our door-in-door and it fits taller items in the bottom part wonderfully. The compartments in the door could stand to be a little deeper, particularly on the icemaker side - we can't fit larger jars in there at all. We do love that the shelves inside are fairly adjustable and that there is an option to slide one back halfway if you need to put tall items inside the main part of the fridge. The stainless steel on this actually does deter fingerprints well, which is great. The water dispenser and ice dispenser have been working well. Overall it's a very nice fridge. It would be nice to have more freezer space and flexibility within the freezer, but it's been a great fridge for us so far.

Love this Fridge
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great fridge and the craft ice makes it even better. The shelf has limited adjustments but we love the bright interior lighting and the door-in-door feature. The in door ice and water is great and having the present water fill is a nice feature. The amount of ice in the door reserve can be an issue if you have a large usage rate but it will refill in a reasonable time.

Great Refrigerator
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This LG refrigerator looks great in my kitchen. The door in door feature is really nice. And the flex drawer has easy access and the option to change to refrigeration or freezer is great. The craft ice is a fun feature, the round ice is fantastic. The storage in the door is very limited however.

Great fridge overall!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We like LG appliances but we were hesitant to buy this one because we had a bad experience with a brand new top of the line fridge at that time with smelly water dispenser which ended up replaced with GE. But we decided to give another chance. The initial model we chose was the one with instaview which were sold out and there is no promise delivery date. BestBuy agent searched through and suggested this model. Kids loved the instaview but well, we'd better get the fridge ASAP. So we took this. It has been around two weeks of ownership and we were thoroughly happy with the purchase. Here are some pros. * Space. This is exactly filling the previous fridge but somehow we were able to put more stuff in the refrigerator. The downside is the freezer space somewhat cramped but it was okay. * Water dispenser is satisfactory. No smell this time. Measured dispensing (we loved our previous GE cafe series) is great. Craft ice is debatable. It has two modes: 3 ice balls per day, and 6 balls per day. My family do not heavily consuming ice so we already accumulated a ton of ice balls in the tray. However, as some other reviwers poitned out, if you use ice heavily, don't count on the craft ice feature. Anyway, ice making and water dispenser is satisfactory. * We are using the middle section to store extra veggies. This actually gives us great flexibility and reachability during cooking. * Very quiet. It is quiet. Much more than the previous one. Well, the quietest among all I have owned. This is certainly very well rounded refrigerator. I would highly recommend to anyone (this or its instaview cousin). Keep in mind 3 ice balls or 6 ice balls per day if you are highly anticipating the craft ice. I'd rather see it as a bonus feature not the primary.

Versatile
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how versatile this fridge is. I can convert I've of the drawers for extra freezer space or just a snack drawer when I finish my frozen veggies. Although it is counter depth, the shape of it doesn't use the full space to use potential. I would have like to use the fridge containers for better organization but unfortunately I can only use one size. Other than that it is a great fridge and we are in love with the craft ice.

Beautiful and works as advertised
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Counter depth refrigerator fits beautifully in our new kitchen. Still getting us to the smaller interior dimensions, but the two ice makers will keep us cool all year long. In addition we now are Ballers too.

Don’t host holiday dinner or plan a party
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had been looking at buying a new fridge for about a year, and ogling specifically over this one because of the craft ice maker - I. LOVE. ICE. It is beautiful & the craft ice is everything! But for all the money you pay there’s just NOT much interior room - the shelves are very shallow. You can’t fit large bowls or casserole pans inside. The shelves on the door aren’t deep enough for your bottles of condiments. It’s not designed for a “family”. For perspective: your egg carton is too long, you have to store your eggs sideways, which takes up more room. So, in a nutshell, definitely not worth the price when you have no room to put your food or groceries.

Nice refrigerator for those that want a small unit
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Refrigerator looks great although the counter-depth unit lacks the space of our old unit. The ice maker in the refrigerator section works great, the craft ice maker in the freezer section quit working in about a week. Getting LG warranty support has been cumbersome.

Like it, don't love it
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ice maker was the main reason I got the fridge so naturally I was super excited to have ice again (my previous one broke) It took 3 days for the fridge to make regular ice cubes and only after troubleshooting online on my own. The owner's manual says 24 hours to make ice so I was not happy once I passed that mark. The freezer also has to be turned down to -5 to make craft ice. After getting that to work, I was pretty satisfied. The only other thing is the non-adjustable shelves and doors. Many of my condiments will not fit and have to be turned on their sides. The door shelves are also very shallow. For instance, the shelf under the ice maker behind the water dispenser can only items that are 1 stick of butter wide. I understand it's a counter depth fridge but my old fridge had shelves that seems much more versatile ie. adjustable and the door shelves were much larger.

Beautiful Refrigerator
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. The counter depth refrigerator has less interior space than a full depth refrigerator which is more limiting than I realized but since it's only me I guess I will live with it. LOL! On the other hand, items don't tend to get lost in the back of the refrigerator. I wish the top drawer of the freezer didn't pull out so far when you open the drawer and want to get into the bottom of the freezer also. It's kind of in the way and you can't push it in further. But I'm still happy with my purchase. Hope it lasts as long as my first refrigerator - 40 years and still going strong - but since I remodeled my kitchen I felt it was due for an update!

Nice But Small
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took 4 cancellations due to back order situation or some other reason where they had to reschedule. We finally received it. Overall, the refrigerator is attractive and smaller than what I’m used to. The converter drawer helps. However, the freezer section is quite small. The craft ice dispenser takes up 1/3 of the top freezer shelf. The converter drawer could be use for another freezer drawer if need be but we needed that for refrigerator space. I probably would not order the counter depth again only because we need more space.

LG Refridgerator
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the round ice but the inside of the refrigerator is too small. I purchased counter depth and that was a mistake. The ice in the door clumps up often.

Very Nice Fridge
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice Fridge. The in-door ice maker adds a lot of extra space. Only things I dislike are the temperature of the water (only slightly chilled), and the freezer is pretty small. The convertible drawer is nice, though.

Good ridge can use some improvement
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ice in door will clog up after a while if left door is opened frequently. Wish it had a deli compartment. Door shelves are really shallow. Otherwise, a nice fridge.

Almost perfect
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This could be such a great refrigerator, but only a year into it the ice machine has broken twice and the compressor has gone on the fritz once where it made some really loud noises and everything inside the fridge thawed out including the ice which created a giant puddle on the floor. Apart from that, my only criticism is that we lost a lot of space from our last fridge of the same size. We've had to completely change how often we go to the grocery store and negotiate as a two-person family who can buy what. It's prompted us to buy a second freezer and possibly another refrigerator just for storage.
