Very happy with this purchase. The refrigerator is counter depth which seems small but I love that it doesn’t stick out. Would recommend! Love the convertible drawer and my husband uses the craft ice balls every chance he gets. Looks beautiful in the kitchen.

Love the door in door. This is where I put pop, water and condiments that I use every day. I do the same thing in the flex drawer. Lunch meats, cheese and meats. This is the only drawer a family sized meat tray will fit (in a counter depth) so I don't have to hurry and divide it up in smaller packages. There are a couple of things I would change. 1) The freezer door doesn't come out as far as my old one and the top shelf covers up part of the lower freezer area. See photos. Also it seems slow to make ice. It does keep up with my needs though so not a big deal for me. 2) There isn't too many choices on shelving positions.

we absolutely love this. The pros: you can minimize going into the main fridge and put commonly used items on the door for outer access. The flexibility of the middle drawer is great. We have snacks, cheese and deli meats in it. Love having the ice maker on the door instead of the main fridge. It makes for more room. It makes plenty of ice for us. We would run out in our old fridge. Cons: upper freezer drawer does not g all the way back. It is challenging and awkward getting items in and out of the bottom drawer. The shelves on the left fridge door are very limiting in size. All in all we love this fridge very much. Maybe LG could come up with a better freezer drawer setup. Or get rid of the stoppers.

Excellent storage organization. I love the counter-depth look, it fits perfectly in my small kitchen. The extra drawer is just right for odd shaped items, with sliding dividers. The craft ice machine is pretty cool too! I'm so happy with my purchase!

After using the LG - 22.5 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door-in-Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator with Craft Ice since February 2024 in our new home, I am thoroughly impressed with both its performance and design. This refrigerator has been a standout addition to our kitchen, blending style with advanced functionality. Firstly, the stainless steel finish adds a modern and sleek look that compliments our kitchen aesthetics perfectly. The counter-depth design ensures it doesn't protrude past the counters, giving a built-in look that is both space-efficient and elegant. The unique Door-in-Door feature is exceptionally convenient, allowing quick access to frequently used items without opening the entire fridge, which helps in maintaining the temperature better and saving energy. The adjustable shelves and spacious design have made organizing our groceries easier than ever. One of the highlights has been the Craft Ice feature. It produces slow-melting round ice spheres, perfect for cocktails and beverages, which have been a hit during our home gatherings. The ice spheres not only elevate the look of drinks but also melt slower, keeping our drinks perfectly chilled longer without diluting them. However, it’s not without its minor downsides. The Craft Ice feature, while innovative, does take longer to produce ice compared to standard ice makers. Additionally, the touch screen control panel, though user-friendly and responsive, can be prone to fingerprint marks, which requires frequent cleaning. Overall, this LG refrigerator has met our expectations with its functionality, innovative features, and elegant design. It has definitely enhanced our kitchen’s efficiency and style. We replaced a Samsung refrigerator with an LG Smart Refrigerator with door in door and craft ice. Bought it from BestBuy as an open box but it came with the full warranty and we added another year via the LG ThinQ (app). So no problems there. Highly recommend this! Best part is the door in door which I was surprised at how much we use it. Also like the craft ice which showed up on the 2nd day. Big clear spheres of ice, really nice. Works well and you can monitor it via the app which is Alexa compatible.

Waited a little to review. Had almost a year now. Love it. All works great! I’ve machine has not froze up like some others (starts with S and ends with ung) so far so good. All features are great. Love the extra door for condiments and milk etc.

Great looks for our kitchen. The extra door is very useful, let us grab our most used items easily. The ice and water in the door is a must have. The large round ice from the freezer lasts a lot longer in our drinks. The middle drawer is nice to keep what ever items you want separated. So far very pleased with our purchase.

This refrigerator is great! It fits perfect in our kitchen. The craft ice cubes are great for cocktails. The door-in-door is perfect for a quick open for our coffee creamers and drinks. Smaller version but alot of space. I am very pleased with our purchase.

Looks great, love all the features and the counter depth size. But after just a few months the craft ice maker already broke.

This refrigerator is FANTASTIC! Now, my neighbors want one too! Although it is counter depth, the storage capacity is exceptional. The convenience of the Door-in -Door is a great feature to grab those everyday items you reach for multiple times a day ( milk, juice/drinks .ect) Love the craft ice! keeps my drinks cool for hours Cant say enough about this well designed refrigerator--Pricey, but woth it

So far so good. Refrigerator is very quiet, fit in the space I have and works perfectly. The Door-Door feature is nice since you don’t have to open the large doors to retrieve small items that you use often.

We did a lot of research before purchasing this unit. We had a Samsung before this that we have relegated to a “garage fridge” that was 11 years old and still worked but had several things functionally and cosmetically (“metal” finish flaking off control panel that we see dozens of times a day) that just weren’t great. LG really amazed us with all of the thoughtful features - craft ice - easy access door for the stuff you get 80 pct of time - knock to see what’s in there - adjustable shelves. Just like in the laundry we used to be Team Samsung - but for in the kitchen, the laundry and for all of our TVs - Team LG, no kidding and no regrets!

Love this Refrigerator! It is the best! Love the front door without opening the entire refrigerator. Love the double drawers. Works perfectly. Very pleased with purchase.

The family is enjoying and taking advantage of the many features of this refrigerator. We like the ability to open just the door in the door without needing to open the whole refrigerator. Though this requires planning which key items most frequently used should go in the door. This has worked out very well for us. The instaview helps us see the key items in the door of the refrigerator and know when we only have to open the door in the door (so the door in the door and instaview go hand in hand). Though be aware you can only see a small portion of the refrigerator. We like the option to use the middle drawer as a frig or freezer. The refrigerator does have less space for tall items than our prior side by side refrigerator. We are actually thinking about removing one of the shelves to provide more space for tall items. While definitely an “extra” feature, we like using the craft ice. The regular ice is smaller than the ice in our old refrigerator so it melts quickly but having the craft ice that takes a while to melt makes up for that. Though we are waiting for the craft ice to be completely spherical but the manual warns it may take time. We’ve been very happy so far.
