    I love the design but the ice maker is still producing a plastic film. The water pours clear but not the ice and I have discarded the ice regularly since the purchase.

    Not overall happy with this LG model. Have to turn the thermostat on freezer to -4 and fridge to 34 to keep my food cold. The freezer thawed overnight after one week. Had temp at -1 at the time. Ice maker is loud.

    Stopped cooling in 2 years. Smart diagnostics reporting everything working fine, but it's not cooling at all. Requested a repair on the app, and it shows it's out of warranty... but installed just 2 years ago...

      One easy thing you might want to try is resetting the cooling system. Just turn off the fridge at the breaker for about 30 seconds, then turn it back on. This can help reboot the compressor and sensors, which might do the trick even if everything seems normal on the diagnostics.     We had a service call today on a recent purchase which had a damage noted upon delivery. This repair (dent in door) was made quickly after reporting. Our service person was timely, knowledgeable and friendly.

    My only disappointment is that there wAs not enough consideration given to the readability of the apps on the door. I have to use a flashlight in order to read them. In my opinion this design needs to be upgraded for the refrigerator to be more user friendly. The light for the flex door could be brighter as it does not really light that area guide enough. The French door refrigerator in all other aspects meets my expections,
