    This refrigerator is no doubt "fancy" looking and has so many nice features. We bought this fridge in August 2021 and now its August 2023 and we are discussing options with LG for replacement/refund. The craft ice was a big hit in our house. I loved the full convert drawer and the fact it measured out how many ounces of water to put in your cup. Everything was great until the compressor failed a month ago. The repair man tried fixing it (coming out 5 times over a months time). The amount of money that this refrigerator costs - it should last a lot longer than 2 years. The 1st sign we had was that the ice makers stopped working. Then our freezer wasn't freezing. Then the refrigerator part wasn't cooling enough. My brother-in-law bought this same refrigerator after we bought ours and he had the exact same problem when his was only a year old. I struggled between a 1 and 2 star rating because it was a great fridge while it worked. But ultimately gave it a 1 star for only lasting 2 years.

    Beautiful looking fridge...Mechanically though.. Ice maker was on the fritz after 6 months and then the fridge completely broke 1 week outside of warranty. Absolutely not worth the price paid.

    Stopped cooling in 2 years. Smart diagnostics reporting everything working fine, but it's not cooling at all. Requested a repair on the app, and it shows it's out of warranty... but installed just 2 years ago...

    The fridge is great but the customer service is absolutely awful. We were supposed to get the black version and they sold it to us out of stock. Didn’t have a fridge for over a month. When they were supposed to deliver it. We ended up having to change fridges to this one… paid a difference for the same fridge… they said we will get back the difference and when we got the new fridge they said no… spent over 12 hours on the phone to get a fridge etc..

    Craft ice maker broke a little after the 1 year manufacturing warranty expired. If you like this fridge for the craft ice, it will break no matter what you think, I dont recommend. Expensive fridge. Looks great but cheap parts.

    Stay away from it. Not reliable. It broke down exactly a year after purchase. Compressor and condenser had to be replaced. Now after 2 weeks we had an error code (FF) due to a fan motor malfunction. Don’t waste your money!!

    I had this refrigerator for two months. It was an open box needless to I would never buy another open box. I returned it and got the refrigerator truly wanted which cost me a couple hundred dollars more but I should’ve gotten what I wanted in the first place.

    I am still waiting for my refrigerator to be delivered. I was told they were on back order & the earliest date I could get was 2-17-24. To my surprise I was checking Best Buy website 1-14-24 & found the same refrigerator with a delivery date being offered for 1-18-24. No one had contacted me to offer to change my delivery date on my order & to make matters worse I am already getting billed for the refrigerator that I do not have yet!!! What kind of service is this?

    Expensive but Low quality. Food spoils very easily although that they constantly trying to change the temperature. The ice maker below does not work and best buy had already come to change the fridge that is less than three months old . I would not recommend for anybody to spend the amount of money that we spent on this fridge for this low quality.

    Giant piece of garbage.

    Garbage. repaired 7 times under warranty, and still doesn’t work properly. SO NOISY, can’t keep kitchen door open and watch TV in peace. Can hear it at night laying in bed. Craft ice maker replaced 2 times in 1 year. I am amazed at the poor quality of everything with this fridge. Oh…I almost forgot, we’ve lost two freezers full of frozen food when it stopped working!

    Terrible purchase

    The ice maker does not output enough ice for a family of four. It takes forever to refill and we are now having to buy bags of ice to keep in the freezer. This is 1 month into the purchase and AFTER an LG repairman came. Soooo disappointed in this product.

    PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Do NOT, Do NOT, Do NOT, Do NOT purchase any LG refrigerators. I did not learn from my first mistake of purchasing a LG refrigerator. The first LG I purchased lasted for 4 years and died from a bad compressor. Of course after the warranty expired. I missed the lawsuit but 1 month. In need of another refrigerator, I was sucked in by the pretty bells and whistles of this particular $4,000 LG. $4,000 $4,000 $4,000 piece of trash. Now 4 years later same problem. Different LG compressor Error code compressor not working. And of course out of the warranty period. Please learn from my very costly mistakes and DO NOT give LG any of your money they already have enough of my money.

    Avoid! Failed compressor; failed customer service!

    If I could rate this unit a "0" I would! Compressor failed after just 5 years; KNOWN ISSUE by LG, with a class action lawsuit (closed in 2021, so we are not included). ABYSMAL customer service! They elected instead to offer warranty on the compressor only, up to 10 years, but they cannot locate any HVAC to work on it!! $458. in labor to boot which customer must pay. Be aware: HVAC professionals consistently say LG is impossible to work with, underpays them, and at times does not pay at all. Piece of crap, and I am so sorry I wasted over 3K on this. We are now buying a GE which carries much greater reliability.
