The freezer completely defrosted everything by the time we came back. We unplugged and replugged in the fridge and it started to work but won't get cold enough to keep ice cream hard. We waited a month for service. While waiting for repair, the freezer door rail broke and the freezer wouldn't open fully. A technician came but was not able to open the freezer door and thus was not able to complete the repair. Spend over an hour with customer service again for an appointment another 2 weeks out. At this point, we've been without a fully functioning fridge for 6 weeks. We've been LG customers for a long time. After this experience, we will never buy an LG appliance again. Although its design is attractive and the price point is good, it's not worth the aggravation when the quality and support are so poor.

Bad refrigerator

LG came out to service it and still has the same problem. Considering this is a brand new refrigerator, it’s terrible.
