Love this refrigerator! Itnis so nice to have the icemaker in the drawer and not taking up space in The refrigerator. I have captured so much extra room. We don't mind opening the door to get to the water dispenser.

so far so good, like the icemaker in freezer, that gives more space up top, although drawers are smaller its easy to see what is inside

I really like this refrigerator/freezer. For a counter-depth appliance, it holds a LOT of food. Also, I love the internal water dispenser! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, however, because the produce, etc., drawers are rather lightweight compared to other refrigerators I have had. Also the ice maker doesn't make ice quickly. All in all, though, I would recommend this appliance.

Great product from LG, with the dual inverter compressor, very quiet. Everything on this unit is high quality. Like that the water dispenser is inside, giving the unit a clean look outside. Ice maker is in freezer, where it belongs.

I've had this unit for about 4 months now and like it very much overall. No performance issues so far. It's a major upgrade from the 15yo GE side by side I had previously. I specifically wanted a unit with the ice in the freezer section as opposed to the refrigerator section. There are many pros such as: spacious fridge shelf space, easy to see/find contents, large capacity ice bin, inoffensive alarm when the doors are left open too long. The cons are minor in comparison but worth mentioning: items placed on the top shelf are close to frozen while rest of fridge is a normal temperature, crisper drawers for fruits/veggies are very small so a lot of items have to be stored on the shelf, the deli drawer runs the entire width of the fridge so both doors must be open to access the contents, the ice bin is in the top freezer drawer which takes up more than 1/3 of the available space.

Fridge is solid. Easiest buying experience ever. Old fridge bent belly up. Next morning I buy this one online. Delivered and installed the morning after that. Never had to step into a store or talk to anyone. Installers were great.

replaced a30 cubic ft. Kenmore Elite that was only 7 years old. It was noisy and compressor was replaced at 3 years old. Cannot even hear the new at all unless the ice is dropping.

Overall nice design. It was one of the only french door models to fit our space properly. I wasn't sure about the water dispenser inside the fridge. Our last fridge had it on the outside of the door. Pros and cons with that aspect. The big drawback is that the draws are very flimsy. We didn't notice that until we started to use the fridge. Hence the 3 star review. Our last fridge had sturdier draws. However, that equivalent model now comes with thicker doors. It won't fit the space.

For the most part I really like this refrigerator. The french doors and the double freezer doors are very convenient. The inside is very well lit so it's easy to find things inside. I bought the model without the water and ice dispenser on the outside. The fridge would only make a few ice cubes a day. I found on google that if you set the freezer to -4 degrees rather than the factory default of zero that it will produce much more ice. Now I am totally satisfied with the ice maker. The water dispenser never gets cold enough for me so I need the ice. The dispenser only holds one to two cups of water and can take as much as 6 hours to chill after use according to the LG website.
