Only have had it a week, so can't speak to longevity/reliability, but so far very happy with it. Roughly same size externally as my old top-freezer Whirlpool and much more convenient with how things are arranged. Both the water dispenser and ice maker get their water run through the easily replaceable filter. If you leave either of the doors or freezer drawers open for more than a minute (I think), a gentle reminder (chimes) goes off a few times. You set the temperature of the refrigerator and freezer using the digital pad at the top of the door frame inside. The umbers are what you set it to, not a measure of the actuaI temps. I bought two cheap thermometers and keep one in the fridge and one in the freezer (checking each drawer separately) and they do match the settings. It was eye opening to see how quickly the temp starts to rise if you leave the doors open for a bit of time. Stainless steel looks great. Finally I would add that the delivery experience was great. The delivery team was pleasant, efficient, and very helpful. Had a similar experience several years ago when I bought a washing machine at Best Buy.

4 stars so far for refrigerator, 3 stars or less for the delivery service. I've had this one for a year and except for some slight condensation that shows up on the second freezer drawer, the appliance is doing fine. Icemaker works well. My last fridge (Kitchenaid, lasted all of 5 years so fingers crossed I get at least 6 out of this one). Delivery gentlemen were nice, but they scraped up my floor and transition trim piece. Took months to get this $35 piece replaced because insurance folks wanted me to get an estimate from a contractor (sure) for this small repair. Delivery staff also had a hard time with attaching water and I had to help. Because there was also a small dent in the appliance, the customer service folks offered $100 credit for all this, but despite a phone call and an email, they never provided this credit. I mainly chose this item because it fit my very specific opening, was counter depth and I did not want water dispenser on outside. But despite my double, triple checking measurements, it was still too tall - the measurements listed were higher than indicated, but that's partly on me hoping that measurements were exact/correct. I had to sand down opening to get it to fit. Would recommend if getting at a good price, but delivery has been a mixed bag for me in my area.

We love our new fridge/freezer. We got this for the way it is organized and its high Consumer Reports rating; mostly, we haven't been disappointed. This LG works reliably and pretty quietly. I use some remote-monitoring temperature sensors to verify that the fridge keeps both refrigerator and both freezer drawers consistently within 2 or 3 degrees of the set point; excellent performance. We also love the layout of this unit; the large ice tray in top drawer is easy to access and mostly stays about half-full no matter how much ice we use -- while it never gets completely full, there's always plenty of ice and it's easy to scoop out. We also love that there is no through-the-door openings; That really helps the fridge run less and cuts down on humidity, mold, and noise. I think also with no through-door ice dispenser, this is likely to last a lot longer than other brands we've had in the past; those others always ended up with a frozen or leaking ice-maker because of the temperature variations penetrating the door dispenser. Minus one "quality" star -- Like other reviewers, we also noticed a frost buildup around the icemaker in top freezer drawer. We live in Florida (so have humidity) and left town for a month; nobody was home to use the freezer or ice tray. When we returned we found such a heavy frost buildup around the icemaker and tray that we had trouble opening the drawer; then we had to chip it out to keep the ice dispensing properly and accessible. It was not hard and didn't take long to get the frost ice out, but it was disappointing. That said, now that we're home and using the ice, we find relatively little frost buildup. The directions and LG online note that there is likely to be some frost in normal use; it is expected and not supposed to hurt anything. We are finding that true as long as you are using the ice; if you leave it for several weeks, you might have a buildup problem and have to take a few minutes to clear it out. It is also possible that we aren't seeing the problem right now because it is the "dry" season here in Florida; the heat is on and humidity is down. I'll update this review if we find the problem returning when seasonal humidity goes back up.

We wanted to white, but white can't be found anywhere these days. I was a little concerned about the ice maker capacity. It's adequate. The water dispenser inside the frig is actually a good thing. Water is cold and filtered. This frig is very quiet! I have to push my ear up against the side to make sure it's still running! Opening and closing the doors is a little noisy. The delivery was great and on time. I bought this for $1700, so you might be able to find it on sale at about that price sometime in the future. Compared to other appliance retailers, Best Buy is the easiest to work with.

Purchasing this refrigerator was actually a pleasant experience. The customer service people were efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. The refrigerator was delivered when they said it would and miracle of all miracles the delivery/installation gentlemen were wonderful. Truly I've never had a major purchase experience that was as flawless and easy as this one. I have sworn off East Coast Appliance forever and my business now will go exclusively to Best Buy. And the refrigerator is perfect, great storage, and the 2 freezer drawers are the best feature yet providing easy access for ice and my baking products and separate access for heavier, less used items. The drawers are a great idea.

I've had this new refrigerator only a short time, but thus far it is working fine. No excessive noise, ice maker produces goodly amount of ice, internal drinking water feature is great and counter depth is exactly what I wanted. As of right now I'm well pleased with it.

It’s only been two weeks but so far so good. Only time will tell with appliances these days. We do like the very efficiently design space and sleek look of the refrigerator. I for a counter depth, it holds a lot of groceries and we do enjoy the double drawer freezer.

So far, so good. We needed a shallower and narrower refrigerator for our kitchen. This fits the bill. The internal water dispenser fills the glass very quickly. The crisper drawers are not as tall as in a 28 cu.ft. refrigerator, but that is to be expected. We like the two drawers for the freezer. I wish it made ice a little more quickly.

We’ve had this fridge since early Feb of this year and absolutely love it. Having water inside the fridge saves a lot of space in the door, and I don’t mind having to grab ice out of the freezer. This fridge is stable temp-wise, quiet, and big enough for our family. Highly recommended.

I've only had this for a few days but I really like it. Whereas it takes up the same footprint as my old French door fridge, this has a lot more capacity. Having the water inside instead the fridge of outside the door works well and saves so much space. And having 2 freezer drawers helped us organize things better.

I love this refrigerator! It has plenty of capacity inside, but is slimmer and less bulky on the exterior. Also the internal water and ice dispenser is so much better.

If you are a food hoarder than this is not the refrigerator for you! This is the perfect refrigerator for me on the other hand, because I like to show off the aesthetics of the interior of the refrigerator, and not for it to be consumed by food. I like to keep it to a minimal to make it look classy and sophisticated. This refrigerator is perfect for a small family home or apartment. The ice makes just enough ice. There's not a lot of people in My Home using ice every time so it's perfect for me. It's a very nice refrigerator. I wish the freezer was bigger but again it is good to keep things to a minimal. The counter depth feature only reduced the depth 4 inches below standard but it opens to the end of a bar in our kitchen and it allows a person to pass when someone else has the doors open. A great improvement! This is my first online purchase of a refrigerator. I expected stainless steel on the front and the two sides based on the description. It has stainless steel only on the front. We have used side by sides for decades. The French doors are a wonderful improvement. The refrigerator compartment is raised 30 inches off the floor, providing total visibility and accessibility to the entire area with both doors open. Filtered water inside works well and is convenient enough. The upper freezer provides easy access for often used items and for ice. The icemaker is sufficient for the two of us. The interior temperatures appear to be optimal. It runs quietly and everything seems to be functioning well. We are very pleased at this point.

Love the look of this, especially with the ice and water being inside instead of on the door, gives the kitchen a much more streamlined and expensive look. I really appreciate all the room in the fridge and like that it has two freezer drawers. I put things we grab most often in the top freezer and keep my frozen meats, veggies, etc., in the bottom. The only downfall of this fridge is the fact that you can hear when the compressor, etc., kicks on....this fridge actually makes a lot of random noises. Thought something was wrong at first but they have recordings on their website explaining what the noises sound like and what each one means....all are a normal part of this fridge's operating system...would be perfect for my home otherwise

I absolutely love the design of this refrigerator! My old refrigerator had the water spigot and ice on the outside, but I never liked that. It always had water drops on it and since our water stinks, it was always crusty with water deposits no matter how much I scrubbed. I love that the water spigot is on the inside and the water is so clean and fresh and cold! The two freezer drawers give me lots of space for my frozen foods and a way to compartmentalize the things I use often without having to open both drawers. It's beautiful! I'm thrilled with it and I would buy it all over again!

Needed a new refrigerator to replace a very old one. This was a good size and has space and shelves to store things. They were able to haul my old fridge away and install the new one.

I like this refrigerator because it is "cabinet depth." As a result, it does not protrude very much from the surrounding cabinets and it is easier for me to see all of the items that are on the shelves. I also like that the ice dispenser is in the top freezer drawer and that the water dispenser is inside the refrigerator compartment. Because there is no water & ice dispenser in the door, there is more room in the bins on the insides of the two doors.

my wife loves the 2 separate freezer drawers, and we got more refrigerator space, including the convenient big door shelves, than we had in our old freezerless refrigerator. and it so quiet! and it was still able to fit in the elevator to easily bring it up to our kitchen.
