We've had this fridge exactly 10 months, and it totally QUIT COOLING today. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. We have a 6 month old and a 2.5 year old and a refrigerator FULL of food and frozen breastmilk that is currently going bad and the Geek Squad (we bought the protection plan) can't get us service until 8 days from today. My last French Door refrigerator was a Kenmore and the best refrigerator of all time - I will NEVER buy an LG Product ever again. Can't believe we wasted almost $4,000 on a fridge that worked for 10 months. Absolute garbage.

Posted .The LRFXC2406D does have a water tank that will dispense chilled water until depleted.Once depleted, it will dispense the same temperature that is coming into the refrigerator until the water tank is filled and has had time to chill the water. ^CP
Freezer does not keep foods frozen

I am now at a point where the I cannot put replacements in and waiting for service. I think the “ears” inside are not aligned with how the filter will sit. Otherwise, it’s a great counter depth! I was scared to go to bottom drawer but hasn’t been an issue — at least not an issue that the double doors up too doesn’t compensate for. I didn’t think I need them but love them. Initially I complained about the water temperature after a couple servings: that must have been break in because now I can dispense 6 gallons and it is still cold. The double ice maker is awesome. The door is what we wanted - and like. The ice sticks sometimes along the outer side, but a quick adjustment makes it good to go and has had enough ice. I have a closet next to the fridge with the wall bumping out. I needed to pull this counter depth out a little for the door to clear. Made me regret a little bit with how big refrigerators are getting now I feel it was still the right choice. If you’re after a counter depth — Just do it (with this one)! More interior space than others, good name, and great performance!

Had to have LG come four times. This last time it was deemed unable to repair. Repair man said LG was one of the worst refrigerators.
