The fridge is terrific. Everything works great with plenty of room inside. Couldn’t have fit the space better. However, 10 days after purchase, the craft ice maker (which is a main selling feature of this refrigerator) stopped making ice. Thankfully, the warranty will take care of it, but the part is backordered. It’s a big pain and taking time. Hopefully, LG can work this bug out and put better craft ice makers in future fridges.

Purchased the fridge from the outlet store. Was listed as being in excellent condition with no damage. I knew that was wrong because it had several dings in it but considering how big a discount it was, I didn’t mind. Well upon delivery, the fridge wasn’t working. Called best buy for the repair but they said to contact LG. Had to wait for a tech to come out. Turns out the fan was completely disconnected causing the compressor to overheat and not cool the fridge. Finally got that fixed along with the water line hooked up and now there’s a leak. Part of the damage the fridge already had was on the back and the hose for the water like was pinched from it. Now that is something else I have to fix because it is spraying water when I use the drinking water. Had the fridge almost a month now and haven’t had a chance to FULLY use it yet.

It is too early for any one to rate an appliance, just after installation. The review should be done at least after a year or so. The LG refrigerator door does not close even at 30 degree angle unless you physically shut it. Is there any adjustment to be done.

It did not fit in the space and the Tech measurer had already measured the space and said that refrigerator would be fine. It sticks out 5" from the back wall!

Refrigerator was delivered with damaged freezer handle - and this was a replacement refrigerator for a previously delivered damaged refrigerator.

In the year and a half that I have had this appliance, it has had two issues. Once with the craft ice maker and thankfully it was easy to fix and within warranty so it did not cost me a thing; the second is an issue I am currently having that will cost me $400+ to repair. The fan motor went out and needs replacement and it is out of the LIMITED warranty. Zero warning that the fan would give out and my appliance is not cooling so everything is going to spoil. My advice would be against this appliance and to do more research on the warranties that come with appliances because these things only have up to one year of LIMITED being the key word of warranty and honestly it is a hefty price tag to maintain. I purchased this out of desperation because my 15 year old fridge gave out. This fridge also needs mindful buyers who will only buy what they need at a time or else the over fill of space will cause food spoilage so this is not ideal for a household of 4 and above

Had refrigerator for about three weeks and it started making some loud noises from back of unit. Unplugged a few times to stop noise. Went online to LG about noise and assumed it was a "normal" noise. However, finally received error code "CH E" on the front panel. Did some research and believe this is the error code for compressor failure. Contacted LG and waiting on response. Fingers crossed we didn't buy a lemon. Love the refrigerator and all the optional features but not expecting to have problems within less than 30 days.

The big balls are fantastic....but the icemaker is problematic as I have had it replaced two times. I never want to be without the large balls again but make sure to get protection for the icemaker!

They reduced the fruit and vegetable trays from 3 to 2 trays and you open them from the bottom instead of the top. Craft ice bin was designed poorly. The cutout in the back for the icemaker is much too large and the large balls of ice will fall out the back behind the freezer drawers and block the freezer door from closing completely. You will need to remove the 2 top drawers to remove the ice. I made a small 1" x 7" cutout in the front of the bin and turned it around. The freezer door seems a bit flimsy. It will rock back & forth. They moved the control board from the rear to the top front which could cause the frig to stick out an additional 2.5" if you are installing it under a 24" wall cabinet. Electrical cord comes out the top front behind the control board instead of the rear.

This was a loner while we decided what to do about our LG which had blown two compressors in a little over a year.It cooled down very quickly when initially plugged in. Loved the size of the crushed ice. The craft ice is a great idea but it would take forever to make enough to use for a party, even a small party. The in door water/ice dispenser constantly leaked water on the floor. Similar problem we had with the Samsung. Attention had to be made to the refrigerator doors as they did not close easily. I would not recommend this unit.

Nice looking refrigerator but the only reason we bought this refrigerator was that it was the only model that would fit into our cut out space and we wanted a black stainless steel refrigerator to match our other appliances. We have had a LOT of issues with the craft ice maker and the control panel on the refrigerator door. You can't turn off this refrigerator without unplugging it. There is no turn off switch. The controls to reset the craft icemaker are also very hard to get to. There are also multiple trays in the freezer that make the freezer space very inefficient. I would not buy this product again if I had it to do over again.

Good improvement on water in door design and location of water filter. Product looks good and fits into space well. Not sure about usefulness of craft ice.

I don’t like the way it dispenses ice. It seems to spray outside your cup no matter the size. Something else I didn’t like is the handle on the bottom drawer is not a metal instead a rubber type handle which I could see wearing after 5 years or sooner, maybe even cracking whereas this wouldn’t happen with metal. I wanted a ice/filter water dispenser and was somewhat limited because of space availability. I like it for the most part it’s better than what I had and if easy to return/exchange I would.

We are on our second LG Refrigerator. The first one had problems with the door ice maker and the craft ice maker. The door ice maker was tempermental. It made ice when it wanted to. The craft ice maker broke in the middle of the night and I found the parts in the frozen ice pan the next morning. Best Buy stepped up and replaced the first refrigerator. Refrigerator #2 is working great so far (about 1 week). Check back in a month for an update.

The pull out drawer has a useless cover. Freezer drawers are not the best, if they go off track, good luck. Craft ice maker died right at the one year mark. Would recommend maybe a different counter depth fridge. One positive, the smudge_less stainless steel really works.

We enjoyed the fridge for a while, but less than 2 years after we bought it, the water dispenser and ice maker stopped working leading to an expensive repair.

Good refridgerator so far. Maintains temperature at the setpoint. Can't speak to the longevity of it as we just got it. Was delivered with a slight dent in the door and noted on shipping paperwork. Was told i would be contacted in a few days for resolution and never heard from anybody. otherwise, so good so far.

I like the refrigerator just fine but I’ve only had it for three weeks. There is plenty of room and it is quiet. I love the black stainless color! The craft ice maker doesn’t make round or clear ice as advertised and according to the LG repairman, this is normal! If this is true, then why did I have to hire a plumber to come out and test my water pressure?

The fridge is freezing my produce. The worst part was I purchased instalation. It took 2 failed no show delivery appointments. When they finally came they would only drop it off. I could get no help from customer service. Me and my wife had to get it into the house ourselves. No fun. My back hates me.

Fridge filter is so bad the smell still remains after 3 weeks and we are constantly calling for support and Best Buy sends someone who came for the wrong job. Disappointed with the whole experience
