This refrigerator is a disaster. We bought ours in March 2016 to replace a problem-free, 15 yr old Whirlpool. In August 2018, it failed completely. LG told us that every part in the refrigeration cycle needed replacing. As is was out of warranty, they agreed to supply the parts, but we had to pay over $500 to have them installed. We were without a refrigerator for nearly a month. We assumed we were just unlucky, but of three friends that bought LG fridges about the same time, all three of them failed and had to have at least the compressor replaced. The service people told us they were inundated with LG compressor replacements and some refused to even quote the repair costs. It has been less than a year since the repair and the fridge is failing again. The freezer is barely below freezing (32 F), even with the temperature on the lowest setting (-6 F). I assume that the replacement parts were just as faulty as the original ones. One of our friends LG has also failed again and they gave-up and replaced it. We are also done with LG and will be buying a new Whirlpool refrigerator this week.

This was an open box item. Makes lots of ice. Some noise if bottles inside are touching.

Having a small opening for a refrigerator, 33.75 inches wide max, this one is perfect. I have plenty of room in the Refrigerator and still have a lot of room in the freezer drawer. Loving it still after 2 months of use. I can find what I'm looking for easily.

We purchases this refrigerator about 18 months ago. The freezer keeps frosting up. When you call customer service they ask you to open and close the freezer door three times. Same issue keeps happening every month. It seems the seal is not working properly but since it has been more than a year, LG says we have to pay for the repair. DON'T BUY THIS BRAND!

Beautiful fridge but the compressor went (apparently a known issue) and now a repair. Says it’s covered under warranty, we shall see.

Needed this one because of opening in kitchen cabinets. Fits well and works great. Ice maker pumps out a lot of ice.

IT BROKE DOWN AFTER 5 YEARS AND COST $900.00 TO FIX!!! WILL NEVER BUY AN LG FRIDGE EVER AGAIN!!!!! GOING TO PURCHASE A NEW FRIDGE. NO WAY I'M PAYING THAT MUCH TO FIX A 5 YEAR OLD FRIDGE WHICH WOULD LAST ANOTHER 4 TO 5 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

fridge developed many cracks int he interior lining in the first year and LG won't cover it. Many excuses and a big run around. Life is NOT Good with LG.

I wish they have less than 1 star or a negative rating because it's less than poor, including Geek Squad service.

Never again will I buy an LG fridge. (Check reviews on others sites) On phone right now trying to make arrangements to swap out with some other model. Last day to be able to do so. Been on hold for close to 30 minutes. Seems to be something wrong with defrost cycle. Food going from cold to room temperature. Freezer is fine.

My LG is just 5 years old and I just spent $500 to have it fixed and it still is not right and repairman must come back again. Will never buy LG again.
