Posted .Hi there, RichardF. We understand your inquiry about your LG 23.8 cu ft Top Freezer Refrigerator (Model LRTLS2403S) and appreciate you sharing your experience—even when it’s been challenging. Reliable cooling is essential, so let’s try a troubleshooting step that can sometimes help stabilize repeated compressor starts and resets:
Troubleshooting Step:
Power Cycle & Diagnostic Reset: Unplug the refrigerator for 5 minutes to allow the control board to fully discharge and clear any stored error codes. Plug it back in and monitor whether the compressor stays on continuously for at least 10 minutes.
Condenser Coil & Level Check: While powered down, gently vacuum or brush the rear condenser coils to remove dust buildup, and ensure the unit sits perfectly level on the floor. Proper airflow and leveling reduce strain on the compressor start relay, which can help prevent premature shutdowns.

Water dispenser unable to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was told they would make sure the water dispenser would be hooked up and running but could not figure out how to open water after line was hooked up so I still am unable to use water dispenser in fridge. Did not offer to have someone else come and see able to do. Just left and called it a day. Very disappointed in service and told one thing and then getting it will never use Best Buy again

Avoid LG
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the fridge on Thanksgiving day last year and had it serviced once. The fan was bad. Took me sometime to open a ticket with LG support and for their tech to come out. All my food gone bad during the 2 weeks period. I thought Samsung was the worse but LG is not getting any better. I should probably stick with American brands instead.
