I bought this fridge after looking for almost a year. Its been a few weeks and can give an honest review. It is a good looking fridge with a lot of space for a 33" wide, a positive. Other reviews mention fingerprints, I can attest to this. I may have the cleanest fridge around as I wipe off the fingerprints daily. However this is a common problem with stainless so it is what is is. One problem you see in a few reviews, the noise. My fridge has a noise that is going to drive me crazy. Not one to complain but this noise is so loud it is not normal. I have a warranty so I am hopeful it will be fixed. Not your typical noise you hear from a fridge, loud and piercing. If it cannot be resolved then I say do not to purchase this fridge. If I got a "bad egg" and it gets fixed then go for it. I pray LG does not let me down. The noise just started in again...help its god awful!!!!

Excellent, spacious. My family is happy, we have 3 years with us refrigerator. Works good.

This fridge has now served me for 5 years and I'm looking to purchase a second one of the same make and model.

Love this refridge for the space and runs quietly. Only issue is that it rolls forward every time I open the doors.

Very loud when making ice. Fingerprint magnet! If you have an open concept kitchen, avoid! It’s too loud to ignore.

Don’t buy! Literally haven’t sat down and “thought” about a fridge my entire life. This fridge is absolute garbage. It never closes, and sings an annoying little song every time you attempt to close it-but barely miss by half an inch because it doesn’t just close normally, you have to constantly make sure it’s closed. When you open it you need a vice grip and then it swings open knocking everything on the side panels around. We put ketchup, mustard, and pickles on the side panel and opened it one day and the weight of those three items was enough to let the bottom panel fly out and break all over the floor. It’s poorly constructed and designed. Longing for the days when a simple fridge existed. For a thousand dollars you would be better off getting a fridge from the Goodwill and going to Aruba for the winter.

Refrigerator is great. Have had to replace ice maker twice - poor design

I have had this refrigerator since oct. 18 , 2016. Got it because it claimed to be very quiet. At the beginning it was fine. It started to make loud buzzing noise all the time some months ago. . Only very brief moment of quietness. Customer service required me to pay $125 beforehand by having my credit card info for just the technician to come. . If the problem was because of the product defection , I have to pay this amount anyway plus extra for other charges.. This kind of customer service makes me feel bad about my decision to buy their product. I decided to wait and think what I am going to do.

Love the fridge only drawback is that the large selves do not have a middle support bar and you cannot put anything heavy on the top shelf

Bought this same unit Mar. of 2012 when it was model #LDC22720SW. Door open light switch failed after 28 months and was replaced for $225.oo. Same switch failed appox. one year later. LG would not stand behind prior switch repair and charged another $225.oo. Eighteen months later the switch is going bad again. Switch actual cost is about $7.oo. Buyer beware !!

I’ve had a number of refrigerators over the years and this has got to be the noisiest one I ever had. For me the noise issue negates a lot of positive aspects of this refrigerator. After a couple of years I’m considering buying a replacement, and it won’t be an LG! Life is not good or peaceful around it!

We are furious that the door to the fridge is not magnetic. We would not have purchased it if we had realised. We would return it if it weren't such a faff! Not happy at all. A magnetic door is the lifeline in our kitchen. So sad. . . Nowhere in the description of the fridge is this mentioned. It should state this.

Purchased same basic model (LDC24370/00) in 2014. Ice maker made ice with a horrible taste (we have pre-filter and RO water hooked up to it); used only for chilling wine bottles, etc. Ice maker totally failed after 18 months. Door does not 'self close' (even adjusted to maximum tilt). VERY noisy. It just lost coolant from its "sealed system" after 5 years and 2 months; 2 months out of warranty LG will not honor its 5 year 'sealed system' warranty. We're the newest NOT LG customers.
