    I shopped around for this refrigerator at different stores and decided on Best Buy for the price and quick delivery date. In 5 months, the refrigerator stopped cooling and had an error code. I called LG, they had a 3rd party (A&E) make an appointment to look at it 4 days later. It has been 6 weeks now that I do not have a refrigerator because A&E keeps screwing it up. They ordered the parts and sent to my house, the repairman came and all the parts were not here. He gives up, said I need to contact LG again and get someone else to repair it. I am so tired of being on hold all day with these companies. I like the refrigerator when it works. It holds a lot, the water dispenser is nice and big, it has a wifi feature if you like that, the freezer is spacious. I like the French doors because I like to put large platters in there.

    Overall the refrigerator had most of the features I wanted. The first concern I have is with the durability of the the bottom freezer handle. A salesperson told me the handle is supposed to be more user friendly for persons with arthritis. As I see it, its fragility will require me to monitor how much weight to allow in the freezer compartment. The second disappointment is with the french door refrigerator handles. I don't believe they are stainless steel and they are cheap to the feel. Lastly, the refrigerator side compartments and vegetable/fruit drawers are made with much thinner plastic than with my other refrigerator. The plus side of this review is the unit has the kind of icemaker and lighting I love. This was a replacement french door refrigerator for my Kenmore Elite French door which lasted twelve years.

    This is seriously the worst refrigerator I have ever had. I purchased it in January 2024. In November 2024, one of the shelves on the right door fell off and broke. I called best buy, told them i paid extra to have the warranty etc, they gave me another number to call. Called the number that best buy gave me, they said that is not something they deal with, to contact best buy. So the a lot of my condiments are on the inside shelves laying on there sides because, the inside of the refrigerator is somehow smaller than any other refrigerator than i have ever had! I cannot stand a bottle of ketchup up in it or anything at that height on most shelves. Very sorry I purchased this and too late to return

    I really wanted to love this refrigerator. I just didn’t realize that there’s no ice in the freezer only ice in the door. The door that has the ice on it shuts and slams on its own the other door you have to make sure you physically shut it or you hear the beeper going off that the door is Open.

    Beware compressor warranty

    Purchased 2020. On 1/12/2022 compressor started making a lot of noise but its still cooling. Call LG. Told compressor is still in warranty but noise is not covered. It must fail and stop cooling the device before it is covered. Magnificent! Will live with noise till it fails then hope it can be repaired before food spoils.

    We purchased this in October 2023. Since then, the ice and water have rarely worked. There is always an error code on the screen. It's very frustrating.

    The fridge itself is great but it came dented and it was out of stock and a diff fridge would not fit my space so I had no choice but to take a gift card! I will not advise anyone to buy appliances from Best Buy!

    Experience was awful

    After the purchase everything was awful. The first fridge was broken which I understand happens. When I called geek squad I was rudely told that i was on my own and I had to call LG. The representative was horrible to work with. I was able to get a replacement fridge finally. Then, the stove folks were horrible to my wife. They made her incredibly uncomfortable and were very rude. I had to take multiple days off of work and spent a ton of time on the phone. At this point I have no desire to ever shop at bestbuy again. It was my first time buying appliances and I will look somewhere else the next time we need something.

    Making noises when it never did before

    I have not had the LG for a all too long and it already started making compressor noises and vibrations, which it had not done months prior. Had totaltech come out and they ordered new parts. Service tech was very polite, but the fridge still is making the same noise after the repairs. Will be following up on this and hoping it is not a defective unit like my Samsung was. This was a brand new replacement.

    Under 2 years old, service needed twice

    Under 2 years old. 2nd time it has needed service. First service - the servos inside that controls the temperature stopped working and seal around the door came apart. Now it is no longer under warranty and the ice maker stopped working, and freezer is not very cold. Side note is that It has always been very noisy. We like the design but are disappointed in the quality of the refrigerator. I would not recommend this for purchase.

    It took me a while to get used to this Frig. I am not real happy about the shelf spacing and the overall space. The shelf on the left door is really small and almost useless because of the ice maker. Overall I wouldn't buy this again. And the large ice in the lower section takes forever. Overall I would look for something else.

    My refrigerator died on Christmas Eve. Went to store and purchased an LG refrigerator. This process went fine. Earliest delivery date was Sat. 12/28. Set up for morning delivery and it arrived at my home before 9 a.m. Unit came in with huge dent in back of it and a broken condenser fan bracket, so I rejected the delivery. Unit was reordered with the earliest delivery date being 1/3. Unit showed up earlier than expected causing me to leave work early. Upon removing shipping material, a small dent was found in the freezer door.

    LG Sealed Compressor issues re-dux

    Well I am now working on getting a 2nd major repair to the sealed compresssor system in 2 years. Not a happy camper. Buy the warranty. Supply chain problems, price increases, and faulty products equal a bad experience. It looks nice and performs weill when not have issues.

    I like the refrigerator itself, but they used cheap plastic tubing for the water dispenser. Even after almost a year, my water still tastes like plastic.

    The ice dispenser doesn’t work. Gets jammed have to take it out again and again. Space to keep big milk bottles is not enough. Only two bottles can come.

      We hate to see that the interior space of your refrigerator did not meet your expectations. We strive to continuously improve our products design and features based on customer feedback. In regards to your icemaker, it sounds like your is making too much ice and this is indicative that the icemaker shutoff arm/sensor is obstructed. I recommend that you first empty the ice bin. If your icemaker is equipped with an ice shutoff arm, make sure that the arm moves freely. If your icemaker is equipped with the electronic ice shutoff sensor, make sure that there is a clear path between the two sensors. Reinstall the ice bin and wait 24 hours to confirm proper operation.
