    It will break down very fast. Linear compressor they use on any model is defective. 5 Years parts and labor on compressor is a joke. they fail to send anyone to diagnose and repair. Just ask BBB, they have over 5000 complaints bottom line when it breaks, nothing else matters

    Fridge Didn't Make It One Year

    This refrigerator made it one year before an error of CL E appeared. The water and ice dispensers stopped working, and the freezer stopped keeping an appropriate temperature. A local repairman (listed on the LG site as an authorized service center) told us the fridge could only be repaired by LG. There was a risk of an EXPLOSION if the fridge was not repaired properly, and he would not take the risk. Another repairman told us the repairs are too expensive. We should just buy a new fridge. We are still in the process of contacting LG. So much for the average life of a refrigerator being 12 years! We would not suggest anyone buy this product.

    Best Buy and LG Specs Wrong, Missing parts

    So far this fridge is a non-starter. LG's and Best Buy's specs are wrong. The fridge w/o doors is 29 4/9" per manual not 29". No call from delivery. Shocked they needed to remove doors.(In the notes and relayed to carrier verbally) They removed the 2 doors in the rain. I removed the 3rd/too complicated for them. They pulled 8 screws from the freezer door when only needing to remove two from the side per directions. The carrier ended up leaving with the fridge on our back deck and taking off. We got it in ourselves. Put it mostly back together to find out the carrier left with the 8 screws from the freezer door.

    Refrigerator broken in 3 years … Freezer first broke A few months later it wouldn’t produce ice or water

    Disappointed

    Icemaker does not work. Even after two installation crews, a Geek Squad visit, and a separate visit by an unrelated appliance repairman to disconnect from the RO line, ice maker produces about 20 small cubes in 24 hours. We may have a full bin by 2024. Very disappointing.

    Don’t buy an LG!

    We’ve had multiple problems and LG Customer service has been awful for over a year now. The unit doesnt work at all and LG keeps giving us the runaround.
