Does a good job. The bottom rack takes some getting used to and could benefit from a slight design change to hold large plates upright better. Also, there is no energy saver setting. It uses the heat from the wash cycle to do evaporative drying, so you can't have it stop early if you wanted to hand dry and reload for quick turn around. Cycle time is about 2h 15m.

This LG washer is great. Plenty of room for a whole day of dishes. Runs quite and leaves dishes clean and dry. No complaints.

3rd row rack is great....and it's very quiet! My previous dishwasher was old...dishes come out so much cleaner with this one.

Love the overall build quality and quietness of operation. The upper third rack is not very useful. It also doesn't hold drinking glasses very well in the second rack as they seem to always fall over or bump into the third rack. It cleans the dishes very well but we have been warned against using the soap dispenser for fear of clogging, although that hasn't happened to our unit yet.

It is difficult to get too excited about a dishwasher, but this one is pretty nice. We were not very enthusiastic about certain features, like the third tray at the very top, but THAT has turned out to be one of the things we really like. This unit is very quiet. It plays a little tune when it starts up and finishes. Otherwise we would not know when it is running. In some reviews buyers have complained of a smell. We do detect an odd odor when it is in use, but hardly anything to get worked up about. As we use the machine the odor has been fading. Consider it the "new car smell" of the dish washing world. Installation required an extra bit of equipment, but that was a code situation. If you have not had a new dishwasher in some years you may face the same added expense. Some things you just have to accept. Overall this is a fine piece of machinery. The dishes are noticeable cleaner than the Bosch we had before (the one that went south in just seven years!). Recommended!

This dishwasher is extremely quiet & the 3rd top shelf is such a nice addition...holds knives, lids, anything more flat. Love it!
