I opted to get a delivery, as this LG tv was a gift. Unfortunately, there was a poor delivery. The tv was supposed to be signed for. It was left out in a hallway, in an apartment building. It was installed a week or so later, and it did not install. There were several items that did not work. It was sent back, via UPS, to Best Buy,. I would think twice rather than have UPS deliver another tv. Also, color blindness created a problem using the remore control - it came with instructions about pushing the green and red buttons. That is something that LG needs to look at when writing such instructions. Or, show which button is being indicated on the remote. Or, print the function on the button, besides using color as an indicator.

Returned the tv. Picture was very dark -- checked all settings -- have a larger LG and the electronic panel needed replaced after a couple of years. Used this tv and it was dark after 3 days -- returned.

I purchased this TV the day after Black Friday 2013 at my local Best Buy. I was between this, and a 22inch samsung, both on sale for 150. I ended up going with this one because of the bigger sized screen and the PC input. I am a college student who uses a computer a lot and writes a lot of papers. I wanted a larger screen to work with to spread everything out on, and this fit the bill perfectly! I brought it back to school with me, plugged it in, set it up, and it is perfect! The picture is crystal clear, and I love working on it. I have not used the speakers yet because I have my own 2.1 sound system to use. I am also an audio engineer and working on Pro Tools Sessions is awesome! The screen is large enough to spread out the session and I am able to see everything I need to. I am hoping to get some HDMI cables and adapters for my mac to connect using HDMI to get even higher quality picture, and so I can try out the audio on the TV. I am hoping to eventually try it out as a TV and maybe get a Roku to use in my apartment with it. This is where the two HDMI ports would be nice. I may just have to get an HDMI splitter, but that's not a huge deal. All in All, I cannot complain because I got an excellent TV and computer monitor for an excellent price. Thanks Best Buy!

I love this t.v.! I was really surprised it played all of my movie files when I plugged in my usb HD and the remote is able to stop, pause, fast-forward etc. I was only expecting it to play music and view pictures going by the website. It's got a nice design and very thin and the picture and sound is very good...only gripe is the stand. It doesn't screw on but clicks-in and doesn't make it very stable

If you are looking for a nice new bedroom television in the 24" range THIS IS YOUR CHOICE. I really did a lot of research and shopping and you absolutely can NOT beat this item for the price. $150 or so... This is the first time I had hooked up the separate component video in (R B G with Audio) my receiver is a Dish Network Satellite. WOW I was blown away by the amazing picture!!! Also, do you ever worry about those guys that give highly negative reviews. Like the guy on this review that gave one star? If you need an honest review TRUST you will NOT go wrong with this product! Samsung and LG are both South Korean built so they are very competitive with each other... I am now an LG believer... Enjoy... :-)

We were looking for a small tv for the office. We are complete tv addicts, but don't need a large tv in the office. This is just so we can have the news on or something in the background while we do other things. This tv is perfect for that. It's a clear picture so when we do look up, we can see what we want to. Sound is decent (never going to be great with built-in speakers anyway, but we're not looking for movie quality sound with this.)

I bought this TV because I needed to replace an old LCD 20" that was starting to act up because of extensive gaming on it. My budget was tight, so I was only willing to buy a TV under $200. Surprisingly I found this one that cost $175. Before researching for TVs, I searched to see which companies were good or bad. LG was a good brand that delivered quality just like Sony and Samsung. I had the other potion of buying and Insignia 32" inch LED 720p for $200. It was almost ten inches bigger, but went with the LG instead. I have seen what happens to Insignias before, so I knew to steer clear from them. Anyway, the colors on this display are just gorgeous. They are vibrant and colorful. There are different modes for watching movies, sports, and gaming. The USB feature was nice because I could hook up my portable hard drive and watch movies and anime on it. However, the speakers leave much to be desired. There are features to modify the sound for whatever occasion. I like the Clear Voice option because it makes the voices louder and more easier to hear. All in all, you can't go wrong with this TV. Its nice for a medium to small sized room. It has a USB port and an HDMI port for hooking up a console or blu-ray or a roku.

Very easy to set up,mounts right into the stand,snaps right in place.Great picture and sound.

We got it home and set it up in a snap! Love it. Slim and sleek. Excellent picture. We're dumping Comcast and tried 3 antennas with this - got 22, 25 and 30 channels with different ones. Supposedly the Mohu Leaf can pull in 43 so I might resort to trying it. But the 25-30 is great. One nice little feature (for not having cable's guide info) is that when you go to a channel, it tells you the name of the show, has a red bar to show you how far the show has progressed at that point, and lists what the NEXT show is. So that's better than nothing. And we're going to use the TV Guide app on iPad and Android phones to check listings. You can customize so the list only shows channels you get. Would like 1 more HDMI port but that's minor.

Got it the saturday after Black Friday of 2013, and it was $149.99, I had to get it, my old tv was too small, 24" may sound small, but if you sit close enough, it's big. Played COD for 3 hours straight, screen didn't even burn. It's enregy saving, which is good, not sure about the reaction time, so don't know if it's meant for gaming. It's space saving, with only one power cord, remote comes with batteries, buttons are like a touch screen thing (took me a while to figure that out). Overall, great product, pros dominate the cons.

Bought this to replace a 9 inch tube tv that sat by my computer for years. The only real issue I have with it is that if the scene is in a darker room, or at night, this tv gets really dark. Dark as in almost completely black. Once the scene changes to something brighter you can see the backlight takes a second to catch up and get brighter, almost like someone turning a dimmer switch up and down. If it wasn't for that I might have given it 4 stars. Got it on a Deal of the Day for cheap, so I'm really not complaining. I also use it for my second computers monitor occasionally, it works well for that.

I was looking for an inexpensive TV to put inside a spare bedroom here and found this model. I wasn't sure if this model had a QAM tuner built in (to receive OTA Digital Broadcasts) since It wasn't going to be connected to the house cable... no sites selling this indicated it or not... Well, it turns out that this DOES have a built in QAM Tuner, which is good.. so all I had to do was connect an old Antenna to it and run the setup to detect the channels (takes about 10 min) and it was good to go.

Bought this for my daughter as a replacement for a Dynex that had stopped working. We were looking for a smaller TV that had HDMI, cable, and PC ports. Would recommend this TV to those looking to dub it as a computer monitor.

This is a great bedroom TV. I use this TV with an antenna receiving free over the air channels. The auto-program works well but it is sometimes difficult to add channels manually. The TV also will remove channels that have previously been programmed if it doesn't receive a signal on that channel. Sort of annoying but not that big of a deal. The best feature is the auto-on. You can set the TV to turn on at a certain time on a certain channel with a certain volume. You can also choose which days you want it to turn on (mon-fri, mon-sat, sat, sun, etc). The remote is perfect sized and has a lot of buttons which I like. One bad thing is that a lot of the buttons are the same size and shape and can be difficult to find the right button when in the dark.

It is a good quality TV. Picture is nice for a kids room for gaming and movies. Sound is good . Just wish it had 2 or more HDMI ports...

This TV is used for the bedroom and is the perfect size. I use it to watch TV and play video games. It fits those needs.

I've had this a couple of weeks now. Delivery was very very unexpectedly quick. No matter how much I fiddle with the brightness button on the remote, I can't seem to get the picture light enough. I use this in the bedroom with no other lights on and it seems dark. The sound was too soft until I hooked the tv up to my cable and then I could increase the sound on the remote provided by the the cable company, so no problem with that. I like the set and simple set up.

This was a gift for someone and the recipient is thrilled with the TV. Good quality, easy set-up, great picture.

I really like this LG 24" TV. Got it when it was on sale for $129. works great in the kitchen. Only dislike is the sound is a little weak.
