If you are looking for a starter tv try this one..

I purchased this TV on November 26, 2015 for my bedroom. I didn't install it until January 2016. After using it only 13 months, it has stopped working. It appears to have a short in it and goes on and off.

The television has a small, inadequate speaker. This would not normally be a big issue, if it weren't for the fact that a supplemental sound bar cannot be integrated with this unit.

This has no sound . None of us can hear it even if we are standing right next to it. I was told to buy a sound bar. Ridiculous

Half of screen burnt out within six months or so rendering it useless. Waste of money

Had the T.V. a couple of years and it all of a sudden just stopped working-black screen.

The picture quality wasn't great and very dark. Ended up exchanging for a different TV

It does the job for the laundry room, nothing fancy

We're replacing old TV so this is great compared to what we had THANKS BEST BUY

This was ok but I didn't like the fact that it didn't have enough HDMI outlets

I purchased tv for the bedroom. Works great. Wish it had more hdmi ports

Purchased thisTV for the kitchen, it replaced our sharp 19". I thought the picture would be better then the Sharp, but it's not. I guess I should have done more research on this before purchasing.

At its loudest I still cant hehear enough to follow the program! This makes the set pretty useless!

nice & lite, easy setup. had low volume reviews . tv speakers has 3 loudness levels plus treble & bass adjustments. not great but good after setting. perfect 4 guest room or kitchen. would be 5 stars if 1080p

I decided to replace my old 19 inch CRT TV in the bedroom, and found this TV. It's the perfect size for sitting on my dresser. The picture looks great. I never thought you could get a picture this good out of a tv this small and at this price point. There are plenty of picture adjustments for those who would like to tweak the colors etc. The volume is plenty loud, and doesn't sound muffled or strained compared to other brands of this price. The single HDMI port is not an issue for me. I use an antenna for OTA, and a Roku plugged into the HDMI for my Sling TV, Netflix, etc. FYI, when a Roku sends a non 4K signal to a tv, it triggers a tv to go into overscan mode, magnifying the picture cutting off the edges, especially the bottom. Some tv's automatically correct for this, some don't. To correct for this on the little LG, just simply go into the settings for the HDMI input and change the screen setting from 16:9, to "Just Scan". This mode shuts off the overscan and problem solved. You will get the picture from your Roku on the tv screen without the edges and scrolling messages on the bottom being ever so slightly cut off. I only wish the tv had CEC capability so that the "one touch on" would work with the Roku remote, like it does with my big tv. I'm guessing CEC might be a feature only found on smart tv's. Since I had the Roku, I didn't the need to spend the extra for a smart tv. This is an absolutely superb tv for its size and price.

First off, after reading some of these reviews, you will not get a luxury car for an economy car price. Likewise, you will not get a luxury tv for an economy price. If you are looking for a primary use television, maybe this is not the one you should get. If you are a movie buff and want a tv to use primarily for watching movies, with movie quality sound, maybe this is not the one you should get. If you are looking for a television for the bedroom, kids room, home office, etc., this is definitely one you should consider. The sound is good, the picture is good, and the price is great. I was looking for a tv I could easily move. One I can use in the kitchen while I'm cooking or cleaning, move to the spare room when needed, and move to the screened porch during nice weather days when I want to relax in the chaise lounge with a cold drink and watch the game or anything else I choose to watch. This television is the perfect fit for that. It fits my needs, it fit my budget for a spare tv, and fit my expectations for a tv that has a low price.

It worked a couple days so I threw away the box and shredded the receipt( my mistake). After a few more days all the color left the picture, so I now have a blurry black and white tv!

I purchased this TV as an impulse buy. The setup was very easy! The sound and picture quality is great for the price. It's the perfect size for my bedroom not too small or too big! I got an amazing deal at best buy online for $79.99. My order was ready for ship to store pickup within the same day!! I love it!!!

For the money, this is a great little TV. Picture and sound are clear and bright and the small size is perfect for the small room that it inhabits. I often hook it up to an HDMI cord to stream shows through my laptop and switching modes is an easy business.
