We picked this model out based on customer reviews, dimensions, and height and layout of baskets. We have wide dishes, all the three-tray washers lack the distance between the lower two baskets to wash our large plates, trays, and cutting boards. Also love the basket layout, we don't feel like we are constantly fighting the vertical tines in order to load the dishwasher. One headache (which was easy to solve) the discharge hose can't be easily swapped for a standard longer hose. The solution was adding a two foot hose on the disposal end, and the LG installation manual explained exactly what parts to use to avoid impacting dishwasher performance. Unit is a little deeper (front to back) than our past washers, like a full 24" deep. Again, easy to cut out the back of the base cabinet and let the unit slide fully into place. The problems we had were due to our specific kitchen layout and cabinetry, NOT due to the washer. Really enjoying this dishwasher after a month of use.

The dishwasher is very functional. I am quite satisfied with the noise. The dishes are also very clean but slightly slower.

Overall, it is a quality machine but its controls are slightly difficult to manipulate. Also, even using extra drying cycle it does not remove all of the water after washing. It pools water on the tops of cups which need hand drying. Using jet dry solution is absolutely required.
