This model LDF5545WW has amazing washing performance. The average wash cycle time is around 2 hours, which is very common on new dishwashers because they use very little water so the wash time is extended. There is an "express" wash cycle that can do a speed wash in about 30 minutes. This model does not have heated dry, which I love because it saves on the electric bill, but beware to buyers wanting perfectly dry dishes. It is virtually silent, the only noise that is apparent is the water swooshing sound very faintly. Pick up the owners manual if you are buying this appliance. There are some pieces of information about the controls that are not visible on the face of the appliance. Overall, I highly recommend this unit if you want excellent cleaning performance without having to rinse all of your dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher. Love it!

I just replaced my old whirlpool dishwasher with this LG front control dishwasher. It has a large variety of settings and cleans very well. The racks fit a lot of dishes and they come out spotless every time. The pro e was right too. I would definitely recommend.

Love the new dishwasher - controls easy to use and very quiet!

We bought this thing in June 2018 and it's officially died. It's leaked and water dripped into our basement and on to computer equipment. The rubber gasket along the sides and top is held in place by a piece of metal that is cheaply welded in place. This weld broke and the gasket won't hold. We realize $600 isn't a ton of money to spend on a dishwasher - but at the same time, we expected more than three years. The past two years we've been dealing with the bent metal gasket holder - trying to get by. Now the wife won't look at LG products.

Very nice dishwasher. Before this one so I had a dishwasher with hidden controls. I think I do like that better. That is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Quite operating and like the led display. Really like the jingle music when it’s done.

I like it. It’s pretty quiet and still learning all the controls. I would have liked to see a better way to see how much of the Jet Dry liquid is actually in. Let’s hope it last longer than the whirlpool one I had before!
