Dish LG 24 inch front control dishwasher cleaned the dishes really well. It doesn’t need those spot-free additives. However, you need to bend over to read the controls. They are not easy to see

You have to have the dishwasher door open for it to turn on.....I've never had a dishwasher like that. The handle of a coffee cup also broke during the cycle, that's never happened either.

It isn't horrible, but the first time we ran it, it definitely didn't clean anything. It has since improved with cleaning. Also, we are having to use the extra dry function each time which seems obnoxious. Note: We take care to rinse our dishes extremely well before loading them. The manual says to load it with no rinsing, but I don't see how that will work better. Oh well! Noticed some spots that appear like rust on the interior of the stainless steel tub. It comes off easily with cleaning, but I would expect a dishwasher to not have that problem as it should be cleaning itself. Lastly, the utensil basket has a handle on it that collects water. In unloading the dishes, you have to dry it off or it will splash the utensils. Also, in the bottom drawer of the dishwasher, the dish dividers will raise/lower in sections. They frequently collapse and you have to keep raising them up to stack dishes. These are pretty innocuous problems, of course. In denial bc I don't want to call LG about the drying/cleaning issues... the other things are pretty menial.

This is the best dishwasher I have ever owned - Wonderful design and easy to load, it is so quiet. I keep thinking it's not "on" and checking it!! Washes even caked on mess. The racks operate smoothly and are "light" - not heavy to pull out and push in. And so pretty!! The lock is a great option so no one mistakenly turns it on by leaning on it.

Clean the heavy stuff off and dishes come out clean.
