Motor broke with no heavy use

I had it for less than 20 months and suddenly the motor broke. This is obviously a faulty motor. LG will cover the part, but not the labor, which can easily go over $200, and I can't even get a tech for a month! I had my previous Frigidaire dishwasher for almost 10 years (as I said, we are not heavy users), with no problems. I dishwasher motor breaking-up in les than two years is simply ridiculous!

Also my cupboard door got scratched badly. Plus it isn't fastened very good so sometimes the dishwasher gets pulled out when opening the door. Also don't know how to work it after reading the pamphlet...seems very complicated .. Very disappointed.....also purchased a remote from you when the guys came to install the TV and now it doesn't work right either.

It apparently blow dries your dishes. That is not cutting it in Florida. Never seen anything like it. Also smaller than standard units, fitting and performing less than the 20 year old dishwasher we replaced. Woke up to wet kitchen carpets In less than a month of use, we suspect it’s now leaking. Typical today.

Bad Circulation motor it sounds like. Very expensive to fix. Not worth it. Never really dried the dishes fully even when leaving on extended dry cycle. I will not be buying an LG dishwasher again

Stainless Steel Peelong

Within two weeks the stainless steel is already starting to peel off at the top. The dishwasher has only been used three times. I was told by LG it is not covered under the manufacture warning and try to wipe it off with water. Highly disappointed in the product and would not recommend. I hope the same does not happen with our other appliances that we purchased.

Not worth hassle.

We viewed this in the store but couldn't tell it would work so poorly due to the drawer layout. The racks don't support dishes right no matter how they are oriented. The company did send new racks and reimburse us for all the chipped dishes, but the new racks are the same design. We've resorted to putting a countertop dish rack into the existing rack to support the dishes.

Leaking after only 20 days of use

Outside the Best Buy return window so now I am stuck with a machine that pretty much failed out of the box and working with LG to get it repaired. Very disappointed. We have LG Washer and Dryer that are great.
