Let's call it a toss-up. The way the controls are set up is the dumbest thing I've seen in a while, and the top rack will leave you scratching your head wondering what in the world is LG thinking. I've used a number of dishwashers in my life and have never hated one before now.

Just after the one-year warranty expired, the discharge pump failed. There was no coverage for this repair. We were quoted about 75% of the original cost of the dishwasher to replace the pump. The technician recommended that we simply buy a new dishwasher which we did. Trust me, it wasn’t an LG

They couldn't install it right cause hose was to big for water. It stuck out of the cabinet almost 2 inches on one side and an inch and a half on the other side. When you walked to the counter to do anything you couldn't help starting dish washer cause the panel stuck out. I returned it.

Noisy beyond belief

The factory down the street? I own a Honda Generator rated at 63db at 10' and at 25' you cant even hear it running. I'm sitting 25 feet away from this dishwasher in a different room and I am measuring 53 on my sound meter. This is ridiculous for a 700.00 dishwasher. Not even close! Worst purchase ever.

I’ve had techs out at least 4 times in the last year and it still keeps clogging up. We even pre wash the dishes and it still clogs and errors. I would stay far away from this model.

Even before then it would leave soap residue on dishes. Wash cycle takes a long time and it does not dry the dishes at all. Would not recommend.

The second one leaked at the steam vent. I do not recommend this model at all! I bought another LG model that is great!
