Overall the dishwasher works well. It is quiet and cleans dishes pretty well . Hopefully it will be reliable and long lasting. My criticisms are it sometimes leaves food debris behind on silverware and dishes, when you follow the "scrape don't rinse instructions". If you do rinse beforehand its fine. I've been using the auto cycle, it takes a long time to complete, 2+ hours. It leaves water on the top of cups even when using the extra dry option. There's no such thing as "print proof stainless steel", although it is better than my other appliances for prints.

After spending nearly $4000 ON SALE on a new kitchen appliance suite from LG for my wife and I, 8 months later a red light comes on the dishwasher it stops mid cycle. Then it randomly starts working again hours later. That same night it died permanently. But that didn’t stop it from beeping all night every 5 seconds waking up the kids. Had to cut it off from breaker. Called Lg and they said that they knew what the issue was and would send a tech to install a new board. Was told he would bring 2, because they send them 2 at a time because that’s how bad these pieces of trash are. LG you should be embarrassed. Well it’s been over 2 weeks and my family of 4 still doesn’t have a working dishwasher because they didn’t have the right parts. Even though they said they knew what it was the day I set appointment. So still waiting. Luckily I bought the extended warranty for it but that isn’t the point. Was going to by laundry suite for my wife and I from LG as well but you guys can kiss that sale goodbye. LG seems like they won’t make this right so I will NOT be recommending them and they can consider my business lost if they want to keep this up.

We relatively recently purchased the LG 24" Front-Control Built-In Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Tub in 2020 and I have to say, I am a bit disappointed. While the stainless steel tub is a nice touch, the dishwasher itself seems to struggle with cleaning dishes effectively. Even after multiple cycles, I still found food residue on my plates and silverware. The front controls are easy to use, but if you have a bit of a belly you can end up turning off the dishwasher mid-cycle. I wish the machine itself performed better. Overall, I would give this dishwasher two out of five stars.

Had this dishwasher for 2.5 years, originally it worked great. Especially compared to our old one. About 6 months ago it started beeping nonstop and shutting itself down in the middle of the cycle. Even worse, is sometimes the water would be drained so our son, who's in charge of emptying it, thought it was clean and done. Most of the time though the bottom is still full of water. The only way it will run entirely through the cycle is by slamming the door shut, and even then, it's only a 75% chance that will work. If we run it 3 times a week, 1 of 3 will run properly. Even worse when you google this machine to try and figure out the problem, you learn that it is extremely common and really no way to fix it. During a Pandemic, clean dishes is a must!

best dishwasher ever& so quiet that you dont hear it when on.

Looks great- price is right. Picked it up, got it home, installed it no problem. Then the leak detector did it’s job and alerted me to leaking water. The alarm stopped after a few hours with the breaker off. I checked all connections, confirmed the tub was level, started a cycle, and sure enough, water was leaking from the tub. Brought it back to Best Buy within 24 hours. They very graciously accepted it with an apology and gave me a brand new one... same model. Fool me once. Got it home and installed, worked great. For about 6 months. Then the controls went wonky. It would stop mid cycle, or sometimes even start randomly. The chimes when you push buttons or start a cycle are THE WORST. Especially when they randomly come on and off in the middle of the night. We lived with it since it still mostly worked... until tonight. Came home to a puddle on the floor, leak alarm ringing, and the drain pump running nonstop. So long LG. I’be ripped it from the cabinets, thrown it in the back of my truck, and will never buy LG again. Ever. Tempted to box it up and send it down to the Korean embassy in DC. What a piece of crap. I’m almost certain Best Buy will tell me I’m out of luck since it’s been a year. Ok- fair enough. I’ll be going to an appliance dealer and paying a premium for quality dishwasher and a lifetime guarantee.

I got this dishwasher installed on Monday 3/29. The installation guy was friendly, on time and seem to know what he was doing. I ran the dishwasher once just to make sure everything ran ok. It was quiet and seem to be ok. On Wednesday 3/31 (2 days later) I discovered I have a leak under my sink and a mildew smell when I open up my dishwasher. I called Best Buy this morning thurs 4/1, and they can come out until Saturday 4/10. Prior to this I had a working (but very loud) dishwasher that did not have a mildew smell or leak under my sink. But with my new dishwasher, I have these issues and won’t have a working dishwasher for over a week.

Does a good job washing, but after 2 years the buttons stopped responding to touch. The only way to get the buttons to respond is to reset the dishwasher with our circuit breaker.

Not the most quietest nor loudest. Power panel is a little sensitive to the touch. Purchased 2019. 2021 had to replace the panel board due to random shut down during cycle. 2022 once again it needs a new panel board due to random shutdown while in use. Seems like its time to just purchase a new dishwasher at this rate. Previous GE dishwasher held up 12 years. Good thing the Bestbuy insurance was purchase at the time. Spending mid $500. Including tax and insurance to use for 3 years on a dishwasher is not acceptable.

Just enough features for everyday use. Nothing too fancy.

Had this for 4 years. At the 2 year mark it started making an awful super loud sound and this week the pump casing assembly burnt out. Not worth the $800 it cost.

Functionally this dishwasher works fine. The issue this thing has, honestly is this product's lack of longevity. I've owned this dishwasher for just over 3 years and I've had to request at least 3 service calls for it for the same issue. And now today I've got to request ANOTHER service call for the SAME issue, bringing me up to FOUR service calls for a dishwasher that is not that old. (The float switch keeps going bad and throwing back an AE error.) I'm glad I purchased a warranty for it so I don't have to pay for the repairs, but as soon as that expires or no longer applies to this dishwasher this thing will be out of my kitchen so fast! First and last time I'll be buying an LG dishwasher.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this. I wouldn't recommend it. It does a horrible job drying, which seems to be a big complaint for many. I also don't like the way it washes. I made scrambled eggs and had to wash the pan twice, it didn't wash well. It's very quiet but for the money I paid I expected better. I miss my Kenmore.

I will never buy an LG product again. Dishwasher was delivered to the residence with a hole in the drain hose. After setting up the service appointment and having the repairman cancel on me 5 times, 3 times on the day he was to arrive, the part LG ordered came in. Unfortunately it was the wrong part. They reordered the part and when it arrived it was the wrong part again. After a month I was told that the part is not warranty covered. I had to order and pay for it myself. When it arrived and was installed, the dishwasher ran....for about 10 minutes. The display screen went out and the unit would not restart. Called LG again on a Thursday. Was told service would arrive on Monday. Service repair man called Monday and advised that LG never sent the work order to them. Called LG again and was now told that it would be a 3 to 5 day wait to process the work order. Now on hold with LG for the last 35 minutes awaiting a response from them. I've had the dishwasher for a month and have been able to use it for a whopping 10 minutes. I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy. I rated this one star only because I had to as there was no option for negative stars or a zero star.

i bought one in october, 2017. the front electric control panel broke after 11months. i got lucky and they replaced it free. it broke again today and LG said i have to pay $300 labor ($125 initial charge plus $65 first 15 min, $95 30min $125 45 min, $150 first hour or $175 maxium) and the cost of the eletric control panel which supposed be covered by 5 year warranty but LG says not that control panel but the MAIN control panel is covered for 5 years. that doesn't make sense! i'm not stupid!!! i'm not buying anymore LG products. I bought over $4,000 worth of LG home appliances in October, 2017. horrible customer service. don't buy LG. don't waste your money!!!

We bought this dishwasher in 10/2018. It worked for about 8 months really well, then it started having some weird "ghost"-like symptoms. It would start beeping after 3 minutes, then shut off. We would restart it, then it would beep a few times, followed by the lights shutting off, while the dishwasher was still active. Then the lights would come back on, then beep more, then shut off. I checked out the water line, and it looked fine. I made sure it had the proper power, and it does. So, I started washing only on Turbo, and it seem to complete more often than fail. Now, a few months later, even the Turbo fails to complete. It beeps a lot, turning on and off, then shutting down mid cycle. I have to run the 12 minute Rinse cycle, and it rarely completed the first time. So, that's repeated regularly so we aren't drinking detergent. I saw customer service recommend sending a FB message for customer support. That doesn't seem to work. The LG chat service doesn't seem to work. So, if I knew this would have happened, and the LG we support with buying 2 x LG7 phones, is this bad with their customer support, it looks like I've purchased my last LG products. I hope I can update my experience, but not looking good at the moment.

Terrible product. Never really dried well. Now the control interface went crazy and just randomly selects cycles and cuts off mid-wash. Product is only 4 yrs old.

Dishes don’t get cleaned and need additional product to do the job. Control panel stopped working after 18 months. Had a Whirlpool that lasted 15 years. This thing is garbage.

Works great! I have had no issues in three years with this dishwasher.
