We had an old dishwasher go out on us . Did some research and chose this LG. It works great. Very quiet. Good load space. Like the panel facing out rather than on top before closing.

Best purchase EVER! We only had a crappy $50 Craigslist dishwasher before this one which we bought out of desperation after moving into our new home 4 years ago and the thing LITERALLY fell apart. This LG dishwasher is so quiet, my husband and I have had to check that out was actually running several times after first using it. We no longer have to wash our dishes before washing our dishes, crank up the TV while the dishwasher is running, OR flip the breaker outside the house whenever we want to run a load of dishes. Such a huge upgrade! The installation guys were fantastic as well- very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Highly recommend to anyone in need of a new dishwasher.

Looks good, feels like good quality and sounds great. Easy to keep clean once a month and easy to load.

Quiet and a good clean. Did my google research and most installers/repairers seem to name LG as second most reliable, the most reliable was a brand i forget but triple the price. Only drawback is the touch sensitivty and being front facing meaning you can accidentally turn it on or off. This was fixed by buying something from amazon for $5, a button cover that opens/closes as you wish.

Great! Very quiet! Easy to use. Love the features that you can adjust the racks and also run just the top rack or just the bottom rack.

Dishwasher is ok but is going to take a little getting used to when compared to the GE unit that it replaced. Because it incorporates a handle flush with the front of the unit it doesn't have a handle to protect the front controls (or hang a dishtowel) and allows for the controls to be frequently activated when you just brush against it and is very annoying. The loading is odd and doesn't seem to have any place for glasses with recessed bottoms to be loaded on enough of an angle to drain and they will still have a little water left after drying unless the extended dry mode is selected. The unit while quiet is not as quiet as the GE dishwasher it replaced and especially in the water charge and discharge modes for some reason. So far I have no complaints about It getting the dishes clean but the full cleaning cycle is at least an hour longer when compared to the previous GE unit it replaced. Even if ok it we should have asked for the unit to be replaced however with all the added charges for installation we had already spent about twice as much as we originally anticipated.

Easy load, very quiet. Dishes come out sparkling clean. It has a delightful little tune it plays when setting and when its finished.

So far the dishwasher is working fine, my wife loves the controls on the front so they are visible when the unit is on. The interior layout of the trays are well designed. What really impressed me is when I installed it the bottom of the unit had all the wires, hoses, motor covered and there were two paths that the water line and power line had a clear run to the front of the unit. Very well designed. Other units have all that equipment fully exposed and you have to “snake” the water and power through all that to get to the front of the unit. This dishwasher was installed by Best Buy and they were efficient and did a great job. This unit has a lot of room, washes well and is very quiet. I wanted a white unit and this was a mid-priced unit. I did research on this unit before I went to Best Buy.

It’s quiet and cleans well but my favorite feature is the fact that you can clean out the bottom if it gets gunky. My old dishwasher, small food particles would get caught in the jet sprays, and there was no way to clean them out. This one catches all of the food or any thing that’s too large to go through the bottom, with a simple twist and pull I can pull out the filter, rinse it out and put it back in . It keeps the dishes clean and they come out sparkling. I also love the extra 3rd rack on top for knifes. I bought this one online without looking at it, and I was very pleasantly pleased would definitely recommend recommend.

Loving the 3rd rack! Installed this myself to save on installation costs. Easy peasy if you know what you are doing. It’s so quiet I barely notice when it’s running. Dishes come out clean and the stainless steel look is sharp looking in my kitchen!

Works really well and cleans and dries sooooo much better than my old one. The dishwasher is really quite, and the 2nd rack can move up or down a pretty considerable distance which really helps when cleaning large pans/dishes.

Love this dishwasher and the 3rd rack is awesome. What a great idea as we are always loading the top rack with large utensils. The dishwasher is quiet and does an excellent job of cleaning the dishes.

excellent at cleaning, quiet operation, easy to load and unload

This dishwasher is the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned. Besides being quiet, the dishes come out exceptionally clean. Also, it has an upper third shelf for silverware. I can also move the tines on the racks to create more space.

I have found this dishwasher generally acceptable but can't give it 5 stars because I believe LG could have improved some aspects that would have made it better. The biggest shortfall in my view is the drying function. In short, it's not very good. First of all, using a drying agent is absolutely essential. In addition, to get dry dishes night drying must always be used with the "normal" option and even then the dishwasher must be left for hours after the cycle is completed to get dishes that are anywhere close to dry. The drying function is completely below expectations and well below the performance of our prior dishwasher. Other disappointments are the bottom rack jumps off track practically every time it is pulled out to load. And finally, the design of the silverware rack is inconvenient with a large handle centered in the rack creates an obstruction. I would recommend this dishwasher to a friend with caveats about the drying function. On the positive side the washing function appears to be doing a good job, the larger tub is appreciated and it is so quiet that you almost have to stand right next to the dishwasher to hear it at all.

My Black Stainless LG dishwasher is super quiet and has programmable shorter run times. I really like the (3rd) top rack made for utensils and the "half load" feature. One complaint:The 2nd rack glass spines are not very good for vertical stem wine glasses, even when you lower the rack. That's why I gave this modem 4 stars instead of 5!

Install was insanely easy. Dishwasher cleans so much better than the old one. Everything comes out spotless and dries pretty well also! This thing is great and extremely quiet too!
