My dishwasher and dishes don't get dry with heated dry and extra dry. After going through all the support topics and calling LG, I found out the dishwasher doesn't have a heating element (to make it use less electricity) so why would they get dry? I have to leave door open til they air dry. I can buy a special chemical to help the problem but, why would I want more chemicals on my dishes? Going to return it.

This dishwasher doesn’t dry well, even after selecting extra dry options dishes are still wet My previous two dishwashers didn’t do that, dishes on the end were warm and dry. Also, control panel is confusing, pressing buttons for three seconds and holding two different cycles options to activate doesn’t make any sense and who can remember all that. I have to keep looking to the manual.

Pause a cycle and check that no plates or utensils are protruding past the tines, as this can allow items to shift and rattle against the spray arms. You may also gently remove the bottom filter assembly—located at the base of the tub—rinse it under warm water to clear any debris, and reinsert it firmly; a clogged or loose filter can amplify rattling noises during operation.
If you’re still hearing excessive noise, try adjusting the water inlet valve to reduce water pressure slightly; sometimes high water flow can create a whistling or rattling sound as it enters the wash chamber. Finally, inspect the 3rd-rack rollers to ensure they’re aligned on the tracks—if any wheel appears misaligned, lift the rack off and realign the rollers before reinserting.
