Repair costs almost equal price of new dishwasher. Life expectancy for this appliance 10-15 years. Last LG appliance in my home or my rental home. If you purchase this dishwasher, be sure to get extended warranty.

The front 10 years warranty sticker after installation is hard to remove. That's my only complaint. Overall a great buy at a great price. My tenant loves it.

LG is so quiet, you won't even know it's running, even in the middle of the night.

At first half the dishes were coming out dirty (especially the ones on the top rack). I used to rinse them off prior to loading the dishewasher. Then since they weren’t getting washed properly, I decided to call Customer Service to talk about the issue. Person instructed me to NOT rinse the dishes as it interfered with the sensor; also she said that I NEEDED to use Cascade Complete (the most expensive dish soap available). It’s been a year now that I’m giving this dishwasher a chance and STILL half of the dishes come out dirty. Very frustrating. I’m saving money to buy a Kitchen Aid, since I have a friend who has one and says it’s her best investment.

Easy to use, nice features, but not overwhelmingly so. Dishes are clean, haven’t had any issue with spots on my glasses. And it’s very quiet, can barely hear it running!

We are very pleased with the dishwasher. We like the flexibility of the trays plus the large variety of settings. It is also very quiet.
