    Clean Dishes, Quiet Washer

We've had this dishwasher for a little over a month at this writing, and I have to say I am very pleased with its performance so far! The first thing I noticed was how quiet this dishwasher is. While it's rated at 50 decibels, to me, it seems much quieter. This is great, as we have an open concept living area, and a loud dishwasher would be a serious annoyance. More importantly, the dishes have been spotless. Our previous dishwasher was leaving globs of peanut butter on spoons and some dishes were spotty. So far, this dishwasher has done a spot-on job of getting the dishes sparkling clean and that makes this buyer happy. What's not so great about it? Well, the controls are not as intuitive as they were on our previous dishwasher. I like to run the dishwasher at night and it does have an overnight dry mode. I'm just not certain how to turn it on or if it is on after I depressed the key for 3 seconds. The previous dishwasher also had a dedicated sanitize cycle, which, at the start of the pandemic, helped make us feel more secure that we were doing all we could to help minimize the spread of the virus. I've also used a sanitize cycle when I was caring for my grandmother during her final years to help prevent her from contracting colds and flus. This dishwasher doesn't have a separate sanitize cycle, and I wish it did. It would be very useful to people who are immuno-compromised, the elderly, and to very young children. Despite that, I still believe this is one of the best dishwashers I've used and would definitely recommend to others.

    LG Dishwasher are the best

LG makes the best products. We love this dishwasher. Super quiet and holds so much more than our Maytag did. Dishes are cleaner an come out dry each any every time including cupa sand glazes that use to collect water on the bottom indentation of the cup or glass. Easy to install but really easy to use.

Had this for a few weeks now. Quieter than i thought it would be. Dishes come out clean, however I always pre-rinse dishes to knock off the major grim before putting in the dishwasher. Only downside is the controls on the front are super sensative. If you slightly rub against them, it will power it on. Wont start the dishwasher, just powers on. There is a sound it makes, so not a big deal. We just turn it back off until we are ready to run a cycle. I would recommend for a budget friendly option that works well.

So far we really like it. Only have had the dishwasher for a couple of weeks but it is super quiet you almost can’t tell that it’s running. We fit a lot in it and it cleans well. No issues with install and it’s easy to use. We still haven’t tried all the functionality. It can do way more than our outdated old one! Great pick for us so far!

I have owned this for about three months, I've had no complaints. I have noticed that sometimes there is condensation on my dishes BUT I opt to not use 'rinse aid' on my dishes - so it's to be expected. Otherwise the dishwashery is super quiet, controls are easy to understand, and it was easy to install. Gets my dishes very clean and I am super impressed coming from an older dishwasher that still had a heating element. I love that the top rack is adjustable so I can fit tall pots in the bottom and the utensil holder has slots for each piece but also opens up for larger utensils. No complaints so far, I'll update if I run into any complaints

I've had this dishwasher for less than a month, but I have some observations. Still trying to find the best combination of options to end up with clean dry dishes and silverware, Pros: Reasonably quiet. Dishes, silverware, and glassware come out clean. In particular, tea-stained mugs that haven't been completely clean for years, come out looking factory-fresh. Cons: Long cycle times. Doesn't completely dry items. Racks are poorly designed. The 23 year old Hotpoint that this replaced had better designed racks. Silverware container is also poorly designed ... I wish I'd kept the one from the Hotpoint.

This is working well and washes thoroughly. The cycles are ridiculously long and the buttons on the front are very sensitive and get bumped with a hip all the time. It is very quiet and sleek in appearance.

When I walked into your appliance area and saw Kyle, a 25-yr old salesman sitting there, I thought to myself that there’s no way this kid knows the first thing about dishwashers. Having been a plumber and a 66yr old man who’s used dishwashers for years, I knew exactly what I wanted. When he asked to help me, I told him the three parameters that I wanted in a dishwasher. Surprisingly, he immediately walked over and picked 3 out of the nearly 40 dishwashers on display. Each fit my parameters to a tee. Of the three he recommended the LG based upon my needs. The Lg was spot-on and he had to have noticed my surprise! He deserves a raise!! Impressive. On to the the LG. My parameters were: no 3rd rack. I wash a lot of pots and pans and 3rd racks always make it nearly impossible to wash larger pots, (LG has no 3rd rack). Second, I wanted a stainless-steel interior. Third, I wanted the unit to be quiet. Cost was a 4th factor and although I can afford any dishwasher I want, I also didn’t want to spend a dime more than I needed. This LG is very quiet and to get a DW this quiet in other brands, you must pay nearly twice as much as I paid for the LG. Stainless-steel interior is perfect and installation was very easy. LG cleans the dirtiest dishes with ease, and I never have to pre-rinse anything. Overall, I’d recommend this unit to anyone who appreciates value paired with common-sense features and performance….and yes, it’s definitely for those who relish quiet.

Normal Cycle not useful-Auto with Extended Dry is

We have had the dishwasher for a year and half. It cleans great but has an odd glitch where the front panel starts to glitch (beeping and jumbled led display and can shut off). It happens infrequently so no error can be found to fix the unit. Also, unfortunately, LG dishwashers, including model LDFN3432T, typically don't have a specific "clean" or “end” indicator light after the Normal cycle finishes. The control panel lights, including the "End" light, usually turn off automatically after a set time (minutes to an hour) following the Normal cycle completion. So with this panel issue sometimes we don’t know if the dishwasher completed a full Normal cycle. Also dishes are wet after the Normal cycle completes. Running the Auto cycle plus Extended Dry overnight will show 'End' on the panel in the morning and the dishes will be dry. The Auto cycle takes longer than the Normal cycle. Other than the Normal cycle issues, this has been a great dishwasher that is usually not too noisy when running.

We've always bought Kitchenaid dishwashers. However, after buying one in 2019, where the engine broke down in 2023, and that Kitchenaid wouldn't replace the engine even though it's a known bad batch, we are done with Kitchenaid. We saw this LG, which is reasonably priced PLUS has a 10-year engine warranty, we decided to just buy it. It isn't as easy to install as the Kitchenaid (the back has a very small area for the hose and cord). But the machine runs very well. The placement for dishes is well designed. I can see when the load will be completed. It is very quiet as well. Dishes come out clean. Best of all, it cost half of what a comparable Kitchenaid would cost. Definitely recommend this.

I have nothing but great things to say about this dishwasher. I washes very well, with a dual spin wash coming from every side, large capacity, dries incredibly well and so easy to clean. One can open it while washing to pull something out and close it, push start and it begins where it left off. Another thing, you can delay start the wash cycle whenever you want. I haven’t loved an appliance like this. I highly recommend it. You will not regret the wash of this machine.

I recently purchased a home and I wanted my appliances to match. I searched and I found the LG appliances. The price was very reasonable at Best Buy. I went ahead and purchased the dishwasher and couldn’t be happier. It’s very easy to use and I like the music it plays to let you know when it’s finished. It’s very quiet and gets my dishes super clean. I like that you can get appliances installed with Best Buy but I new a handy man who installed it for me but I like that I had the option to use Best But services or not. I don’t have any complaints with my dishwasher. I love it. It was also delivered pretty fast to me and you get the option of choosing your delivery date and time arrival range.

Very quiet & multiple timed settings & drying. only drawback it has front touch buttons which I didn't want but had to settle for to get other things I wanted & size. The buttons are super sensitive so if you lean into them it starts washing & trying to cancel doesn't always work if you aren't quick enough. Even if it cancels it doesn't stop it goes till it gets the water out before turning off.

I am so impressed with the dishwasher. Big inside, so quiet, looks nice and works great. LG makes excellent products. All my appliances are either LG or Insignia. Installation was fast, on time and professional. He did a great job and make sure it was working perfectly before he left. Bought a dishwasher and convertible freezer at the same time because prices were great and had high ratings and reviews. I am either an LG or Insignia girl! No regrets.

This unit replaced a 10 year old, 70+db dishwasher that was slowly dying of old age. This LG = 5 stars for quiet 4 stars for cleaning 3 stars for drying (you HAVE TO use rinse agents for good drying) 3 stars for accidental activation via front controls

Great washer, very quiet compared to our old one, and cleans dishes incredibly well, no prewash necessary. Unlike some reviews noted, the drying works perfectly well, no issues there. In fact, we don't even use the extra drying option, just the regular cycle. Nor did we ever have to use anything past regular wash, the regular wash option is strong enough to clean. Price was very good too, I got it open box so it was quite a deal.

This was an upgrade to our Bosch 100 series. It washes and dries fairly well. I have very hard water, so I always use a Rinse aid no matter what. The detergent I'm using is Cascade Platinum and it has been working fine. It does have a jingle for startup and when it's complete, which is nice for when I'm not around the kitchen area. The only negative is the sensitive buttons on the front. If you lean or bump the power it turns on and is very annoying. Overall, this has been working fine for our use. Definitely a steal at 499.99 with a $50 gift card.

I really like this dishwasher. It’s pretty basic as far as dishwashers go, but it is the most quiet dishwasher that I’ve ever owned. I can’t hear anything unless I put my ear right next to it. The one I have is all stainless steel inside and out. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5, is because no matter what drying setting I put it on, it does not completely dry the dishes. This one does not have the heating element in the bottom, but I really didn’t want that anyway due to melting plastic on bottom shelf or something plastic falling at bottom during wash cycle. Dishwasher does clean the dishes very well.

I have been very pleased with this dishwasher so far. Best Buy Installation was easy. The dishwasher itself does a very nice job. I don't know how it compares to others in terms of volume, but it is relatively quiet. I've been most surprised by how dry the dishes come out when finished. Do have to be a bit careful of the touch panel. It can be a little touchy and turn on/off with a slight touch.
