When they first came out, my dishwasher shutoff wasn't working so I had to get it fixed. They came back out a day later to install the new dishwasher.

I refuse to use the countertop on top of it because I am always afraid it will turn on. The cleaning is okay, and expected better from an LG appliance.

We understand your concern about overly sensitive buttons, especially when they affect your ability to use your kitchen comfortably. This model features touch-sensitive controls designed for ease of use, but we recommend enabling the Control Lock feature to prevent accidental activation. Here’s how you can activate it: Press and hold the Control Lock button (or the button assigned for locking, as indicated in your owner’s manual) for 3–5 seconds. When the Control Lock is active, the panel will not respond to unintended touches.
Running the dishwasher on the Heavy or Turbo cycle with a quality detergent and rinse aid can improve cleaning performance. Ensuring the filter is clean and loading the dishwasher properly can also enhance performance. Controls are on ouside of unit but less issue of any water damage . I've tried different cleaning programs and no issues at all. Plates are dry and very clean.

The only lg dishwasher that had a 2 story dish rack instead of the new 3 story, which i don't like. I would give it 5 stars but it is louder then i thought it would be and was told. But for the price it's good.
