Won't work for narrow under-counter spaces

I really wanted this model, because it was the least expensive of the top rated models by Consumer Reports. Alas, any buyer should be aware of the depth of this unit, about 2-1/2 inches deeper than some other models. I've had to return it in exchange for a slightly more expensive LG Dishwasher that will fit my narrower under-counter space.

Very Quiet. Like that We can move the silverware rack to the side rather than the back where it was originally. Only thing we don't like is that the shortest cycle still takes over 2 hours and at that the items inside are not dry. This is probably a sign of all new dishwashers complying to govt. regulations to be energy efficient and while doing so probably ending up using more energy!

Worst dishwasher I ever had. It’s loud, washes just ok. The inside trays are not good. It’s hard to arrange dishes in the tray and some of the stands that hold dishes up are sensitive and always come down causing the dishes to fall over in the tray. Also doesn’t dry the dishes very well
Hi, Alexander. Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with us. We understand the importance of having your LG Dishwasher (LDFC2423V) model operate quietly, clean effectively, and offer a smooth loading experience. One helpful step you can try for the drying issue is selecting the Extra Dry or High Temp option if available on your model, as this boosts the final drying performance. For the trays and folding tines, ensuring they are fully locked into place before loading can help keep dishes upright during the wash. Unit is quiet and does good with rinsed dishes. Definitely use Jet Dry or comparable additive. For price, having a stainless steel tub is a plus. Control buttons are a bit touchy need to be careful not to touch them when walking past or working at the counter.

Love the dishwasher. Very quiet. I am a big fan of LG. Made the mistake of buying a Whirlpool. Whirlpool sucks! Did not get my dishes clean. LG to the rescue. Thanks LG and Best Buy!!
The instructions say do not rinse you dont have to

Other then generic low teir or some specialty soaps can cause the sensors to give you a fault code causing you to rerun the wash cycle does a great job washing the dishes. No rinsing before you wash required

Needed an upgrade from our current dishwasher. We weren’t looking for something with all the bells and whistles,
But still needed a high quality dishwasher. This is it!

We had to replace our dishwasher after 7 years. This is our first LG dishwasher. For the price it was a good choice. It is a bit louder than our last model (a GE). The install was ok, the feet were not very easy to adjust but we got it. Remember to buy a new power cable and water hook up. Easy functionality in general. Delivery was excellent with BB. Why I keep going through BB.

My old dishwasher was soo loud and I just got used to it, this one is great!!! It is too quiet you don't even know it's one and I love the 1 hour setting where dishes are done quickly, quietly and just perfect!! Highly Recommended

Significantly easier to install than my previous dishwasher from another manufacturer. Has a 3/8" connector for the water intake which is nice to do away with the hose adapter. It also has a rear lowering and raising mechanism that allows you to raise and lower the back end of the dishwasher when you've already connected it and have it in your cutout. It is operated by a screw in the front. My only complaints are that it holds less dishes than our previous washer and it's louder than I expected.
