The majority of the rack is made from cheap plastic. When I tried to get service from LG, the chat agent was great until I asked for a better built rack then said my replies weren't showing and disconnected. Now I will uninstall and return to Best Buy. I am terribly disappointed in the quality and service from LG.

I can't help but wonder if something is wrong with it. The push "buttons" are hard to read. It is easily turned off accidentally. The cycle is excruciatingly long. The only reason I haven't returned it is because I would have to pay to have another one installed. So--clean dishes but LOUD obnoxious operation.

It has leaked twice. When the tech came out he said it was improperly installed. Three months later it is leaking again. With a second service call I will have paid over half the price of a new machine. Our LG washer was also replaced within 2 years. Going back the Bosch.

It’s hard to arrange dishes in the tray and some of the stands that hold dishes up are sensitive and always come down causing the dishes to fall over in the tray. NEVER Buy LG!!!

This dishwasher has not worked right since I bought it. I have had nothing but trouble with LG since I purchased it. They have sent out 2 different technicians who both have no idea what is going on with it. According to the technicians, this is common with LG. LG has a reputation that there products take a dump within a year of purchasing. The customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. They understand very little English and will keep you on hold and transfer you from one employee to the next. I have literally spent hours on hold with this company. They still have not made things right with me and I have been trying for 3 months. I spent almost $500 to have a dishwasher that can’t complete a full cycle. Please take my advice, do not buy a LG!

A Bad Experience

The person who was supposed to install it did not have the right hoses, wanted to make us responsible, and did not speak English, and all was extremely difficult. Then, too, it was shockingly difficult to contact customer service or get a callback. The upshot is that we valued our peace of mind and cancelled the purchase.

Disappointing customer service

I bought it almost a month ago, scheduled delivery & installation for 8/22; was informed to be available that day between 11 am - 3 pm. I was contacted by the delivery driver at 2:45 that they were 20 minutes away and that it would take at least 45 minutes to install. I had arranged to be off work until 3:00 as instructed by Best Buy, so had to cancel the delivery. NOW, I have requested delivery on any Saturday or Tuesday (days off) but Customer Service has no availability except for Thursdays and Fridays, So I asked them to check in September - nothing on Saturdays or Tuesdays. I asked them to check October - no availability on Saturdays or Tuesdays. All Saturdays and Tuesdays are booked up for months?! I asked for a manager - was told that they would tell me the same thing. I have used Best Buy for years, purchased many products and services there, and have a membership to the Geek Squad, etc. I am so totally disappointed in this experience that I may never use them again.

Alot of people wrote that it was quiet. It was much louder than expected. We couldnt get it to dry all the dishes. We had to make sure we had a towel ready to dry before putting the clean dishes away. We also learned to inspect each dish to make sure it was clean iften times finding a couple that needed to be ran through again. After a few weeks of owning it the control panel went out and we ended up exchanging it for a different model.

Warranty runs out after 12 months (Serious factor to consider). Moisture seeps inside dishwasher control board. Spare parts unavailable to order. Could reoccur anytime. Only option is to call LG repair person for $299+taxes (I paid less than $500 for the dishwasher). I was told they will replace parts for free and ensure it will work again.

This dishwasher has never worked for more than a few cycles without needing service. We have replaced our entire plumbing system as a result of LGs “solutions” to no avail. Best Buy passed the buck to LG and LG will just keep sending technicians who will not even open it before blaming someone else. Meanwhile we wait days, take off work and have been washing dishes by hand for 3 months. LG, just honor the warranty and take it back! Life is NOT good.

Bad dishwasher and service

Purchased Amana had to return as it was awful. Salesperson stated because it was an Amana so I purchased LG upon their recommendation. It does not dry properly,the bottom rack continuously fall off each time you pull it out and falls off knocking dishes over. I’m so disappointed, frustrated and disgusted with this dishwasher and BestBuy. When they installed knocked a piece of the cabinet off and can’t even comment on underneath with the flooring. I called Best Buy to no avail. I would not recommend either. Such a disappointment

Install was a nightmare

Installer didn’t have a clue what we was doing. Was impatient and cared more about getting in and out. Didn’t hook up the hoses correctly, leading to mass water everywhere after he left. Didn’t double check his work and didn’t have the right tools for the job. Best Buy needs to do better on what 3rd party they work with, because I had a horrible experience. After all said and done the dishwasher didn’t fit and had to swap it out for a different one. Hasn’t been a pleasant situation.

I got a lemon.

Dishwasher failed on the test run. Install crew was long gone. Service crew came to repair three days later but were unable to fix. I am waiting on a new one to be delivered. The wait is expected to be minimum 10 days. If that one works well, I will give a good review. Not happy.
