This dishwasher has a great internal design to maximize the number of items that can be loaded and the 3rd tray for knives and other utensils is a godsend. It is quiet, cleans effectively and offers many options for cleaning.

The LG dishwasher has preformed beyond my expectations. My husband was able to install in less than 30 minutes. I love the third shelf at the top for cooking utensils and other small items.

So far so good. I would recommend. I prefer using the turbo feature. The cleaning and dry qualities are good. I wish it was quieter. Hopefully this will last longer than our previous dishwasher.

I'm incredibly impressed with this LG dishwasher. It's so quiet while running that I sometimes have to check if it's even on. The Quadwash system gets everything, even baked-on food, sparkling clean on the first try. The third rack is a fantastic feature for silverware and small utensils, freeing up a lot of space below. Plus, the PrintProof finish actually works and keeps it looking new.

Quiet and economical . Several cycle settings make it efficient as well. The optional overnight dry ensures that items are ready in the morning. I’m 100% satisfied with my LG dishwasher.

We purchased this over 2 years ago and had no issues...that is, until the onboard motor wore out. It ended up being cheaper for Best Buy to replace than to fix, so we went with this one again more for the fact that the dimensions fit. We considered not getting it due to the low shelf life, but the repairman said this was a common trend from the last batch of LG washers - hopefully this new batch won't have this issue. As for the machine itself, it really does a great job and you don't have to do much beyond rinsing off the heavy stuff off your plates before loading the machine. The "auto" run time might seem long to some (can be nearly 3 hours for a load) but there are other settings using more water that can get it done faster.

Doesn’t dry as well as I would expect a dishwasher to dry, but overall a great dishwasher and easy install.

We purchased this dishwasher after our other one decided to do less than desirable cleaning of the dishes. So far, it has worked well and I enjoy the 3rd/top rack, which our last dishwasher didn't have. It is pretty quiet when it is running too. Installation was quick and we did it ourselves.

Time will tell, but initial quality is fantastic. Does a great job. A bit slow on normal settings, but under normal circumstances it makes no difference, and for abnormal circumstances there is turbo mode. Energy savings never hurt.

I replaced my dishwasher with this one because the other was not draining the water. This dishwasher cleans well, is large and I like the cutlery tray at the top

I have been very pleased with the LG dishwasher. I have had it for about 2 years and it is holding up very well. My biggest complaint is the dishes are still extremely wet after every wash even with the drying cycle.

A good machine needs proper installation.

It is very good in all aspects except it could do a better job of drying. Having it properly installed is very important. Having a good machine and proper installation have to go hand in hand. Our first new machine. Was not properly installed. Thanks to best buy for taking care of that for us.

This dishwasher has pros and cons. For the pros, it runs very quiet compared to our old unit, lots of setting options for cycle, looks nice in the kitchen, extra top tray for cutlery. Now the cons, it doesn’t dry well. The top tray being plastic it holds a bunch of water, and since the door seals so well it builds up humidity and never drys. If you leave it like this it smells horrible in a couple of days. Since we didn’t use the top tray we removed it and that helps but I still wipe it out with a towel after unload the dishes. I would look into other models before purchasing this one again, but hopefully it lasts a long time and I won’t have to worry about it.

M y problem is the lack of a decent use and care manual. Not everyone has access to the internet as is required by LG. The dish washer has operated flawlessly so far.

Works great. Square plates don’t fit well on the bottom. Third rack might be wasted space for the top rack.

I had a samsung that worked pretty well but had a breakdown within the first year.... THEY ARE CRAP based on the lack of customer support so dont buy Samsung products. I switched to this one that appeared to be comparable. It works, it cleans, but its louder than my former unit, although it said it was the same. It also was supposed to be screwed in and today I noticed it was not. Best Buy has great support and the staff are really nice. But just make sure you check everything before they leave.

Solid unit with a few installation gotchas.

First off: it's a good looking unit that appears to function well, though I did just get it so let's see how it holds up over time. My doc in stars is due to a few design decisions that lead to a less than pleasant installation experience and a few warnings. First off: the hole you need to cut for the washer via the template is _very_ low. The manual is clear that they can't guarantee good drainage if the hole isn't within the shaded area, but said area is literally at 3" off the ground: most modern cabinets have 4" toe kicks. That will damage most cabinets as you drill through part of the floor. Luckily the hole recommended is 2.5" in diameter so the bottom half of said hole can pass the drainage hole and be i n compliance ... just make sure it's the bottom of the 3 wires you try to pass through the opening. In the future LG: could you think about the average cabinet height? The next thing is the junction box for the electrical cable is in the front, right side of the unit. This means if you buy the standard HomeDepot dishwasher kit and you get a 5.5ft cable, you immediately lose 2-3ft of it running through the channel to the front of the unit. If your outlet is on the left-side of the unit? Another 2ft lost as you bend around the back, leaving you with a measly 6" to reach the outlet. Do yourself a favor and buy a 7ft or longer electrical cable. Finally is the drainpipe. Now this actually comes with the unit, is attached at the back, and is still a solid 6ft long. You can easily do a high-loop with it if you are allowed, but if you live in a state that requires an airgap, then this will need to be cut down. BUT: it's one piece of accordion plastic with a small smooth pipe for the last 4". if you cut the drain, you lose that clean nosle and end up having to get creative in attaching this to your airgap by using plumbers glue or similar to make the air-tight seal. I wish they just used a smooth hose that could be easily cut at any point and fastened down. Is the machine a nightmare to install? No. But there are some elements here that make it harder than it should be. I had to get a longer than expected electric cable, cut the drain hose in a way that forced me to buy plumbers putty, and really ponder how to avoid bad damage to my cabinets. Be ready for a fight when installing... and enjoy when you're done
