I don’t know why because I don’t think the water ever hits the lids and things I put up there. This is a very quiet dishwasher. That’s about the only great thing I can say. It takes over 3 hrs to wash and dry one load and even with the drying agent it’s still not completely dry. It’s just frustrating because I can’t just pick it up and return it.

Also, it doesn’t get dishes as clean as my old Whirlpool used to. Slightly disappointed.

When just a few dishes are loaded, even after rinsing them off it has a bad smell every time we open to load more. Never again will I buy an LG product.
