We are a family that uses large glasses. The other dishwasher had a small 3rd rack for knives, etc. I was initially excited about it until I realized none of our Tervis tumblers would fit. Much easier to hand wash the odd knife than all those glasses on a daily basis. We really like this dishwasher so far, but it is a little on the loud side and many of the dishes come out wet so we have to leave them in the drying rack. We probably need to go look at the manual but haven’t done so yet.

I did not need a 3rd rack, but it has double spinners and top spray. It has many combinations of settings to wash different types of dishes.

If you walk by the dishwasher too closely, you will turn it on. I like that it is quiet but I would not recommend this item. It also will not dry the dishes completely. It took months to receive the item. Otherwise I would have returned it to Best Buy. However, I was in need of a dishwasher.
