It seems to be larger inside, when compared to other washers. I'm not sure how they engineered it to have more rack space but there clearly is. To save water we don't pre-rinse, yet the dishes are sparkling clean. We're very pleased.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT

Glitching since day 1 but always on/off so was never able to call out a technician. Finally 14 months after purchasing it, the dishwasher won’t even turn on. Of course, the warranty is only for a year. We have them coming out now and just for them to do diagnostics is $124.99. Terrible product- save your money and don’t buy LG.

Thankfully we bought the 5year warranty. The geek squad guys couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and why it kept throwing an AE code. Because of our warranty we were able to get it replaced but it was unfortunate we would have to buy a whole new warranty whether we got the same dishwasher or just got a credit for a different one. I won't buy another samsung product
