3rd rack...only for silverware.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I guess I should have researched a little deeper on LG's 3rd rack then I would've known that it was only for silverware I would have left it at the store. But that is not the main reason why I returned it. No matter what cycle I used it left a white film on my dishes. I tried 2 different detergents and yes I used rinse aid. Also that silverware 3rd rack did not clean all the silverware because there is no rotating sprayer at the top.

The adjustable racks are really useful and the 3rd tray for longer and flatter items is a very efficient space saver. This appliance is easy to use, navigate, quiet, and most importantly provides very clean and dry dishes. I would recommend.

Installers contacted Best Buy and set up a replacement install for 8/28/24. On 8/28 the second dishwasher they could not complete the install because the left front leg would not raise up. Installers again contacted Best Buy. Best Buy sent me an email saying I could cancel & get a refund or they would set up another delivery & install. I canceled & 17 days later still have not received a refund for the install & parts. Never washed first dish so no way to rate performance.

Within a year the control board goes out. Takes LG days to respond and then had 3 technicians accept and then dropped our case. So I had to find a repair company under LG to come out and fix it. Finally fixed it and then 6 month later it goes out again. Thankfully this was covered under the one year warranty. (Parts have a one year warranty as well if replaced). Now here we are a year after that and the exact thing is happening again. But its not covered and LG wont fix it. I havent had any other brand break let alone break less than 3 years old.
