Best Dishwasher I've Ever owned

Having a 3rd rack makes a lot of difference, especially when more space is needed for larger utensils that don't fit in the silverware basket. And having a variety of loads to choose from saves water and energy. The stainless steel tub is of very high quality and makes all the difference from having had a dishwasher with a plastic tub in the past. Best of all, LG has a year warranty on the motor drive.

The bottom rack needs more crossbars. Our lighter square shaped dishes turn and hit the bottom washer arm. We are having to put zip ties down there to fix it. The top utensil rack is great. One other thing to know, this is a very deep unit. It was a tight fit. Not much room for the water and drain hoses behind it. All that being said, it does clean very well and we are happy with it overall.

I also like the small top drawer where I put plastic lids etc. I find the electronic controls to be easy to use, but very sensitive (I often have to push the power button multiple times as I have turned it on and then accidentally turned it off). It could do a better job during the dry cycle.

Good Dishwasher (2 Months of Use)

Yeah it doesn't have wi-fi features, but it has everything else and the price was solid. My wife is happy too. The install was a lot easier than I expected as well. Very Quiet. Clean Dishes.

BUYER BEWARE..don't buy this brand

When this dishwasher works, it works great and cleans the dishes well .. however this has broken FOUR times in the short 15 months that I've had this. Each time the LG repair guy comes out they change the same thing...the control panel and the door latch. The one time the even replaced the mother board. I've fought with LG and they will NOT refund me because the product needs to break THREE TIMES within 3 months. They don't back their product and even both repair guys say the dishwashers are junk...stear clear from LG ..don't buy this brand

You cannot hear this dishwasher until it drains and it is so easy to use! I would recommend this dishwasher and we are so pleased that after using the old one for 19 years, we finally got a new one!

We have been very pleased with them both in function and reliability. Obviously, having just purchased and installed this dishwasher, I cannot speak to its longevity. As far as function, we are very pleased with it thusfar, It is extremely quiet as compared to the 29-year-old (non-LG) unit that it replaced. We have found that usage of a rinse agent (as recommended) does help immeasurably.
