The only drawback is that the LG doesn't contain the drying mechanism that other dishwashers have. I had a GE before and if all I wanted to do was use the drying feature, I could. You cannot do that with the LG dishwasher. It uses steam technology to dry the dishes. Other than this, I am happy with the way it cleans my dishes

Nice dishwasher with third/top rack

I really liked the front control. I think it is much better than top control. Third/top rack is very useful, also it fit to the location better than out old unit. Lastly a negative feedback this dish washer doesn't have a section for prewash detergent. I guess not many people uses it anymore but I wish it had.

They are inconsistent at best when it comes to cleaning and will often stop eith some random error code. The latch to secure the door is not solid causing high amounts of moisture to escape during the drying process. The display bar across the top broke after a month and the only waybwe could find out if it was covered under warranty was a $150 gamble on a service call. Save the headaches and time spend rewashing dishes by looking at a different brand.

Having it properly installed is very important. Having a good machine and proper installation have to go hand in hand. Our first new machine. Was not properly installed. Thanks to best buy for taking care of that for us.

I like the top cutlery pull-out tray and the ability to both raise and lower the top rack, and to adjust the upper and lower rack tines up and down. Has more cycle options than I'll use. Experience so far with Normal cycle is that choosing Extra Dry is necessary if you really want the dishes dry.
