I was worried that the dishes would not dry because there is no heating element. That has not happened so far, every time I remove the dishes, they have been dry. It also seems to have more room than my old dishwasher.

Good dishwasher, but doesn't dry the best

But the only down fall is it doesn't dry the dishes completely, even on the extra dry mode. I have to open the dishwasher to completely dry them.

It's has gotten everything clean even when the kids over fill it with dishes. My last dishwasher struggled with that. I will definitely recommend this to anyone that asks

Especially this washer. It is a life saver, especially with all of it’s features, and the quiet ness of this unit is unable; you never know that it is on.

Runs with door open

It happens if I accidentally bump the control panel. The water actually starts spraying, even though the door is open. The local service department has not been able to figure out what the problem is. There must be some type of design flaw. It also takes over two hours for a cycle to run, which seems like a very long time. And even though I’ve had the dishwasher for approximately five months, it still has a weird chemical smell.

We strive to provide high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations. The door latch and sensor are designed to prevent exactly that, so if water is spraying during a bump or touch without the door being properly secured, this may point to a faulty door switch or a control board issue.
We also hear you about the cycle length—most ENERGY STAR certified dishwashers, like this one, do tend to run longer to save water and energy, but we definitely don’t want that to affect performance or safety. And regarding that lingering chemical smell, running an empty cycle with white vinegar on the top rack and baking soda on the bottom can help neutralize it.
