Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the excellent cleaning performance and low noise level as significant advantages. They also appreciate its ease of use and good capacity, along with the quality of the stainless steel tub. However, some customers express concerns regarding the rack design and report issues with the control panel and overall reliability. The long cycle times and sensitive control buttons are also noted as drawbacks.

Very good dishwasher! So glad I decided to get it. My old kitchen aid was done and I could only wash a half load in it so I pretty much quit using it. Got this one a few weeks ago and no more hand washing!! It has some really long cycles too which is good for bigger loads. Highly recommend!

I had it for two days when a wheel on the top rack broke. The majority of the rack is made from cheap plastic. When I tried to get service from LG, the chat agent was great until I asked for a better built rack then said my replies weren't showing and disconnected. Now I will uninstall and return to Best Buy. I am terribly disappointed in the quality and service from LG.

To rinse or not to rinse!

The dishwasher does not complete the cycle unless the rinse liquid is added. Other dishwashers don’t need the rinse. It gives an error message (be) if rinse not added to the machine. Not impressed with this product.

I know it was cheaper than normal, because it was an open box deal or a return. It works extremely well. No leaks and functions properly. I couldn't have found a great deal anywhere else.

It's not as easy as my old one was. Everything is so technical. And it doesnt do a, dry only, setting. Runs for nearly 3 hours with a medium load, and everything was very wet, clean but soaking wet. Also coyld use a better user manual. Its pretty tho!!

Sleek and elegant look with a quiet wash cycle

The elegant look has a nearly invisible captioning system across top front of the door that must be turned on by pressing the correct invisible "power" button. Then suddenly control messages turn on and come to life. The stainless steel interior is pleasant to see. I never saw such an interesting and useful system for holding silverware. The lower loading cage sometimes slips off the rails slightly so be careful rolling it out and back. The cycle runs smoothly and quietly. There is a spring style loading system for placing soap pellets but I need to read the instructions to figure out why it is designed that way. I have very hard water so the cleaning cycle left a fine, chalky feeling film on dishes so I chose to add two packets of soap which seem to have solved that problem. I noticed that the top edge of wine glasses revealed a faint imprint of ladies lips after washing, will extra soap take care of that also? The door does not fall open like my old washer which I appreciate, it stays open while loading without falling all the way down which my legs then hit as I walk around looking for more items to load. This model has the right price but without the third top rack which I do not miss. The biggest question is unknown, how long will it last? I remember the olden ays when these thngs lasted for several decades. Now these machines have a lot of plastic parts and we are lucky to get ten years out of them. however they are quieter and easy to use.

Pluses - it's quiet and the dishes come out clean. Minuses - flimsy, no quick rinse cycle, racks are very thin, hard to change upper rack height, controls are sensitive and flimsy. Items in the top rack fall over unless you pull open and push close carefully. The manual does not include most of the options. For that you need to go to an online manual. That online manual has mistakes - for example, it shows the wrong key sequence to turn the chimes on and off. The racks are made of very thin rubber-coated wire. I don't imagine these will last long once they receive the inevitable nick. The machine is very very light and the door feels flimsy. The stainless steel on the interior is very thin. There is no quick wash or quick rinse cycle. The upper rack is height adjustable but has no lever or button like many other machines. You have to slide the rack all the way out of one track and put it into another. The controls can be activated just by brushing up near the machine. I find I have to set the Ctrl-Lock both when it's running and when it's off to avoid stopping or starting it by accident. Some people have complained about the flatware rack being in the back. Had they read the manual they would have seen that the rack was placed there for shipping only - it should be removed and relocated to the right-hand side for use. I paid $450 for this dishwasher including shipping. I think it's a good value for that money but if I had to do it again I'd spend a little buy a higher-quality machine. Overall I give it an 'OK'. I do not expect this machine to come close to the 18 years my outgoing Whirlpool lasted but am hoping to be surprised. Of course, I spent about the same amount of money on that machine 18 years ago as this one costs today.

pros: very easy to use, sleek design, quiet while washing cons: can accidentally hit the buttons due to the buttons' location and their sensitivity (not a huge problem), personally not a big fan of the utensil holder because the cover falls frequently and the size of it can limit the storage of the racks

Pros: Sleek and modern design Quiet operation at 52 dBA SenseClean technology for optimal cleaning Energy Star certified for energy efficiency Flexible and adjustable racks Cons: The front control panel might be less appealing to those who prefer hidden controls Some users might find the cycle times slightly longer than other models Overall: A reliable, efficient, and stylish dishwasher that delivers excellent cleaning performance and energy efficiency.

We recently replaced a four year old GE unit that was progressively worse at washing dishes, until it finally started triggering the shut off of the entire electrical wall it was plugged into. Before getting an electrician out there, we wanted to try replacing the dishwasher first. We picked this model due to the stainless steel and the quiet dBA. So far so good! No more tripping the breaker and shutting down the kitchen walls power. The dishes are clean. The only complaint is it does not wash a fast as my old now. A standard wash and dry is over 3 hours. Even the fastest option is over 2. However, for clean dishes, I will take that.

We have been using the dishwasher since the purchase around 8 times, but 2 of them interrupt the cycle and mark an error (bE) so have to start over again. Is not noisy and it takes 2.29 hr to complete one cycle, the others take longer. However has a pretty good capacity and clean everything pretty well. We are going to get a new one in these days hoping we dont have any more incidents. Other than that very happy with the product.
