Monitor good but connection not stable

My complaint is that when not used for a period of time, it becomes gray and grainy. Have to turn it off and back on for the image to be restored. I've looked for fixes but haven't been able to correct the error yet.

Quick and easy set up. You only need a small phillips screwdriver to connec the monitor to the stand. Nice range of tilt also. Very pleased overall. I tried connecting an 24" HP 1080 to my Mac before this and it was terrible. If you scrolled to fast, the color would drag and the screen was so pixelated.
